2024 Cadillac CT4-V Gets New Coastal Blue Metallic Color: First Look

The 2024 Cadillac CT4-V adds four new exterior colors to its palette: Black Diamond Tricoat, Velocity Red, Cyber Yellow Metallic, and Coastal Blue Metallic. Here’s our first look at the new Blue hue.

Assigned RPO code GJV and touch-up paint code WA-121J, Coastal Blue Metallic is one of nine exterior colors offered on the small luxury performance sedan, which include:

  • Summit White
  • Black Raven
  • Argent Silver Metallic
  • Midnight Steel Metallic
  • Radiant Red Tintcoat
  • Black Diamond Tricoat (new for 2024)
  • Coastal Blue Metallic (new for 2024)
  • Cyber Yellow Metallic (new for 2024)
  • Velocity Red (new for 2024)

The Coastal Blue Metallic color is an extra-cost item that adds an additional $625 to the sedan’s price, and can be combined with all interior colorways.

For reference, here are all two available interior colorways offered on the 2024 CT4-V:

  • Jet Black with Jet Black accents
  • Sangria with Jet Black accents

The 2024 Cadillac CT4-V arrives with some important updates and changes compared to the preceding 2023 model year, including a new Red Accent Package arriving for the 2024 CT4-V.

Additionally, the 2024 Cadillac CT4-V and CT4-V Blackwing both get additional elements to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the V-Series sub-brand, namely a 20th Anniversary grille header decal and unique instrument cluster wake-up animation.

The 2024 Cadillac CT4-V rides on the GM Alpha 2 platform and is equipped as standard with the turbocharged 2.7L I4 L3B gasoline engine, developing 325 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque. Front-wheel and all-wheel drivetrains are available, both connecting to the GM ten-speed automatic transmission.

Here is everything that’s new and different on the 2024 Cadillac CT4-V.

Recently, Consumer Reports gave the 2024 Cadillac CT4 a Recommended rating.

Overall, Cadillac ranked average in the Consumer Reports 2024 Reliability Report, though it still placed above the average dependability of U.S. automakers.

Production of the 2024 Cadillac CT4 at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan began this past July and will end on May 30th. Looking forward, there has yet to be any official confirmation that there will actually be a 2025 Cadillac CT4.

  1. Pretty, until I see it in person. But Cyber Yellow has got to go.

    1. I don’t know about all these bright colors for Cadillac. I kind of think that they’re trying to attract a younger buyer to an older design and name. Kind of doesn’t make sense.

      1. I have a 2017 ATS-V sedan in Vector Blue Metallic. I constantly get compliments on the color. It looks VERY similar to this Coastal Blue. Has anyone ever compared the two shades together? The Vector Blue has a lot of green and purple pigments in it, so the hue actual changes a bit depending on the angle and the curves of the body. Any idea if the Coastal Blue does the same thing?
