2024 Buick Enclave Production Has Ended

As expected, production of the 2024 Buick Enclave has come to an end as of late February, GM Authority has learned from sources familiar with the matter.

A Buick representative confirmed the cessation of the 2024 Buick Enclave‘s production, stating that “production of the 2024 Enclave has ended as we’re preparing for the start of production for the 2025 Enclave.”

The 2024 model year’s production run was originally slated to end after just six months, with December 13th, 2023 set as the final production date after the first vehicles rolled off the assembly line in June.

However, this date was postponed to early 2024, a rescheduling believed to be related to the UAW Stand Up Strike, which directly affected production of the crossover with a walkout at the GM Lansing Delta Township plant in Michigan.

A date for the start of regular production (SORP) of the 2025 Buick Enclave, the successor to the 2024 Buick Enclave, has not yet been announced.

GM Authority brought you exclusive spy shots of the undisguised 2025 Buick Enclave earlier this week, confirming the new model year features front end styling cues from the Buick Wildcat EV concept, including a layered grille flanked by vertical styling elements.

Interior spy shots revealed more details, with the cockpit overhaul headlined by a large horizontal display extending across the dash, with a unified widescreen panel containing both the digital driver instrument cluster and infotainment system touchscreen.

When it arrives this year, the 2025 Enclave will launch the third generation of the crossover model with an assortment of changes and updates. The turbocharged 2.5L I4 LK0 gasoline engine will be found under the hood, developing GM-estimated 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque. Cog swaps will be provided by the GM eight-speed automatic transmission, with FWD as standard and AWD optionally available.

As noted, production of the 2024 Buick Enclave took place at the Lansing Delta Township plant in Michigan, with the 2025 model year slated to be produced at the same facility.

  1. Good bye actual aesthetically pleasing design, logo, and good engine naturally aspirated.

  2. The last Buick with Buick styling has left the factory. Now, all of them will be wearing the dull, boring, generic style that is the automotive equivalent of a Mao uniform.

    1. GM doesn’t know what styling, or what makes a luxurious interior anymore. The new Envision looks like a slightly redone Ford Escape from a few years ago, no Buick character in this vehicle. The new Enclave apparently is the same hideous front fascia with a boxier cabin, still no body styling. Nothing but overpriced and underdone vehicles happening here, with a more expensive engine that just barely gets better mileage. Now it’s not that hard to figure out after more than 50 years that the big 3 can’t compete with the Japanese or the Europeans in the car segment.

    2. Correct. If there was ever an example of Buick management being
“woke” this is it!!!!!! I now own my third Enclave and was looking forward to the 2025. No more.

      1. If GM is letting Chinese designers decide what our cars should look like here. Then that’s the flying bird to everyone in AMERICA, who would be considering on buying a BUICK, let alone any other vehicle GM builds.

        1. Unfortunately that’s what happens in a global market system I don’t like it either but America has been allowed to slide down a cliff it’s China this and China that, this should have been taken care of 25 or 30 years ago when China was starting to import more it’s to late now even Toyota designs cars in China now.

  6. did not know that Buick was still making vehicles, interesting, assumed they went away. Never see them in commercials (well I do fast forward through commercials mostly), or at shows, or any where, ever. America’s most forgettable brand and the team at GM is seemingly doing nothing to support their dealers or engage the public in ways that reach us… Also, what is Buick? Who is their customer? I do not think Buick knows, as the brand has zero identity and or differentiation in the market.

  7. Hank if you think Buick is being forgotten kids nowadays wonder what Mercury and Oldsmobile where lol! You have the Internet look it up. I am looking forward to the new Enclave we love our 2019 enclave.

  8. I like the look of the 2025 Enclave, except for the new “nose”… which is downright hideous! The nose on the 2024 Enclave is classy.

  9. I purchased a 2024 Enclave because I prefer the V6 over the Turbo 4. I worked in automotive for 30 years and know the V6 to be a more durable engine. There really isn’t a large difference in actual mileage either. Buick should still offer the V6 as a choice from the 4.

    1. Doug k the v6 when it gets mileage on it eats the timing chain the 4 cylinder is better this isn’t a trick V6 it’s a glorified car engine the 2.5 is being designed fresh and new for this vehicle also you’ll save mileage as long as you don’t have a lead foot but that can be said for an engine and change your oil don’t wait 10,000 miles.

      Reply
      1. BS! The 3.6 hasn’t had timing chain issues for past 10 plus years. That issue was corrected back in 2013 when GM changed chain suppliers and dropped the oil change interval program down to around 5K miles which is all you should ever let a DI twin cam engine go before changing oil. I have not seen any LFX or LGX 3.6 engines go bad even with 150K plus miles, especially ones that were maintained.

  10. Buick is ran by China. The Traverse and Acadia are designed and engineered in Michigan. The Enclave is all being done in China. This is why is is behind schedule of the other two and wont be built until summer.

  11. The last actual Buick that looks like one. And the nice silky smooth V6 is being replaced with a noisy economy car sound 4 banger that will probably be recalled within the year and get worse MPG than its V6 predecessor just like in the new Canyon/Colorado. Great times for Malaise era II

    1. “Silky smooth V6”? Haha. That’s certainly not my experience with my 2022 Cadillac XT6 Premium Luxury. I find it to be a rather noisy and anything but smooth engine. I absolutely hate it!.

  12. Have a 2011 enclave . Timing Chain needs replaced $3500.00 , front end needs repair $2400.00 worst car I’ve ever owned .

  13. Tim your talking about a thirteen year old vehicle the front went on my cousin’s Toyota Camry before ten years it needed to be all redone and those years of GM V6 where known for timing chain issues but still it’s an old car…we have a 2019 enclave no problems so far expect for some stupid $70 dollar emissions part, tires, brakes and oil changes and one transmission fluid change….other then that it’s got almost 80,000 miles on it and still runs like new. I would buy another.
