As the ultimate offering in the way all-electric off-roading, the GMC Hummer EV Pickup pushes an EV’s all-terrain capabilities to the extreme. However, what happens when you want to redefine the definition of extreme? Well, it’s likely you would come up with something similar to Texas Truck King’s SEMA 2024 Hummer EV Pickup build, as this all-electric supertruck appears to be something out of a fever dream.
In a render posted to social media, Texas Truck King gives us a glimpse of what his upcoming SEMA 2024 project might look like. Not too many details have been released, except that this GMC Hummer EV will feature 57-inch Evolution Rubber track tires on 41-inch JTX Forged wheels.
It’s worth noting that GM Authority recently reported on the Hummer EV Pickup example that will be transformed into the render above. More specifically, the all-electric supertruck had gotten stuck on rain-soaked grass following a massive thunderstorm. After the ground became saturated, the owner was unable to free the Hummer EV without the assistance of a tow truck.
As a reminder, the current 2024 GMC Hummer EV Pickup saw the introduction of the 2 and 2X trim levels, which include a plenty of features and technologies, including GM Ultium battery. Positioned below the 3X trim, the 2 and 2X trims are both equipped with a two-motor powertrain rated at 570 horsepower, with one GM Ultium Drive motor mounted on the front axle, along with a second motor on the rear axle.
Another noteworthy update for the 2024 model year is the arrival of the Omega Edition. This limited-run model features a unique matte paint finish, special wheels, and a few noteworthy pieces.
Under the skin, both variants of the GMC Hummer EV – which include the Hummer EV Pickup and Hummer EV SUV – ride on the wide-body variant of the GM BT1 platform, while production takes place at the GM Factory Zero plant in Michigan.

Why?
Because they can.
They are effectively telling their kids “no inheritance for you, SUCKAS!” YOLO and all that jazz. A complete waste of time and effort, imo, and further proves the Hummer EV is a giant Power Wheels, a joke, a sad toy with no real value.
Does it come with an elevator or escalator?
Sounds like the ERay makes a better off road vehicle. Get the hummer from ur girlfriend.
C’mon DenBoer, you gotta already know most hummers ‘lip service’ departments, with their ‘inconvenient’ hours and exorbitant LIFETIME contracts requiring a nose ring are not the way to go…
Giant gross Hummer, what a waste of raw materials.
Jeezis…I mean if a stock $120 k Hummer EV can’t free itself from some mud-soaked grass chiefly because it weighs 9,000 lbs….WHAT is the point of the EV part when it will strand you so far from an outlet as to be in Siberia wearing nothing but a Peter Heater!
How to make the ridiculous and gross EV Hummer even worse? Here’s the answer.
That’s just stupid…but then you can’t fix stupid….
Was the first H2 Hummer owner in my County with the 2003
Kept it 13 yrs as I had a company car so it stay in the garage a lot. Lets remember, I didn’t buy it for the fuel efficiency with the 6.2 !
But that was the best GM product since my 67 Camaro after coming home from Viet Nam.
I drive a 6.2 High Country now and thinking of buying a new one (again).
GM needs to start emptying offices upstairs and getting people who actually know “what the customers wants…not what “they” like.
Board of Directors……be a shaker and mover!!!
Every fk spot has a comment! Mind you these same “spots” are ICE drivers! GMC made a hell of a vehicle. No it doesn’t fly but if it did ppl would complain about that too!
Ppl find things to complain about. If it gets stuck in mud…it’s too heavy…it costs too much. Would someone wear a 2K suit to snowboard in? All cars weigh close to or over 1 ton. And you get what you pay for.
I have a wish that have a one of it amazing hummer…
