General Motors has issued a customer satisfaction program for certain units of the 2024 Chevy Trailblazer due to some owners being charged for an emblem that didn’t fit correctly.
According to bulletin A232425160, select 2024 Trailblazer models may have a condition where owners were charged for a Chevy Bow Tie logo that didn’t fit properly on the front fascia of the vehicle. To remedy this, affected vehicles are to be inspected, with dealerships issuing $225 reimbursement checks to owners with incorrect badges.
Interestingly, the $225 LPO, or dealer-installed, Black front and rear bow tie emblems (RPO code SFZ) has been unavailable to order on the Trailblazer since Summer 2023.
In addition, this means that the LPO, Blackout Package (RPO code PDB) is also unavailable. Normally, this appearance package includes (relevant RPO code in parenthesis):
- Black front and rear bow tie emblems (LPO SFZ)
- Black nameplate (LPO RIK)
- Black grille bar (LPO RZ9)
It’s currently unclear when or if this package will return.
As a reminder, the 2024 Chevy Trailblazer is offered with two engine choices, including the standard turbocharged 1.2L I3 LIH gasoline engine, rated at 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque, and the optional turbocharged 1.3L I3 L3T engine, rated at 155 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque.
In regard to gearbox options, units equipped with the LIH engine, along with examples with the L3T engine and front-wheel drive, are mated to a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT), while 1.3L engines with optional AWD are matched to the GM nine-speed automatic transmission.
Under the skin, the crossover lies on the GM VSS-F vehicle set, with 2024 production for the North American market kicking off in July 2023 at the GM Bupyeong plant in South Korea.
Pricing figures start at $24,395 for the entry-level LS trim level, $25,595 for the LT, $28,395 for the RS, and $28,395 for the range-topping Activ model.

Bow Tie Emblems : “Unavailable”
Great Management .
‘Oops’ is not an option.
This kind of ineptitude is unacceptable!
Chevy Trax owners were charged $40 for front license plate brackets they didn’t need that were left in the trunk(hatch).
This is peanuts, I live in Canada and I’ve taken a very well equip 2024 Activ trim. The only thing not included in mine was the Bose speaker Upgrade with adaptive Cruise control… well that was until this winter when I noticed one other MAJOR drawback: According to the manual on page 38 it states: To enable or disable remote start heated seats, select Settings > Vehicle > Remote Lock, Unlock, and Start > Remote Start Auto Heat Seats > Select ON or OFF.
It is nowhere to be found… very disappointing.
