Eight months after Buick’s refreshed three-row crossover leaked in China, the refreshed 2024 Buick Envision Plus has just been unofficially revealed in the Asian country.
Chinese media have obtained and revealed the first images of the refreshed 2024 Buick Envision Plus just ahead of its imminent launch in China, which General Motors’ SAIC-GM joint venture has planned to do in the coming weeks. The mid-cycle refresh of the long-wheelbase compact crossover includes a notable makeover with Buick’s latest design language and new global identity.
Following in the footsteps of the regular-length, refreshed 2024 Envision officially presented in the middle of last year in North America, the main design changes of the refreshed 2024 Buick Envision Plus are concentrated in the front fascia that adopts the brand’s most recent design image with the shark nose shape, the massive lower-positioned grille, the set of split headlights and the new Buick logo in the center of the hood.
However, the refreshed 2024 Buick Envision Plus will also maintain unique front-end features that differentiate it from the standard second-generation Envision, such as a larger grille, a slightly taller shark nose shape, and specific bumper moldings. The side profile remains the same, while the rear has a cleaner appearance with new horizontal taillamps, a redesigned liftgate and a revised bumper.
Another significant new feature that the refreshed 2024 Buick Envision Plus will share with the regular-size variant will be a redesigned interior, featuring Buick’s latest design and technologies. Chinese media obtained a blurry official image showing the entire dashboard of the updated 2024 Buick Envision range for the first time, which adopts an all-new presentation with a large 30-inch curved screen and the brand’s latest steering wheel design.
The refreshed 2024 Buick Envision Plus has just been revealed and will officially launch during the first half of this year in China, the only market worldwide where the extended-length variant of Buick’s compact crossover is sold. Details on interior design, equipment levels, powertrain configuration and pricing will be revealed closer to the launch date.

Looks like a full size suv instead of a crossover… well done buick even though I would’ choose the current model ( design wise )
Should bring this over here to compete with the Telluride/Palisade. Not everyone wants an enormous Traverse/Acadia/Enclave and the Equinox/Terrain/Envision are too small.
3-row SUVs for other markets tend to be smaller than those for the US though.. the Envision Plus is smaller than the Palisade/Telluride and about the same size as the US Blazer. As a 2-row, it could work though, being bigger than the regular Envision.
Nice looking vehicle that competes well with new Mazda CX-50 in size. Envision Plus is wagon like so would not cannibalize Enclave.
Buick isn’t that much more expensive than Chevrolet and, when you look at Envista and Envore GX, it seems GM is aiming at a Hyandai-Kia symbiotic relationship between the two brands.
Buick needs to enter more gh global markets. Better quit than VW so might do well on Europe
It’s 5″ longer than the CX50 but also 5″ shorter than the Telluride/Palisade.
I would guess this is very similar to the 2025 Buick Enclave exterior
No similar to the Equinox. They should’ve made it this size the first time though
No, I mean the design, not the size.
If GM has half a brain they would bring this here! The current Envision is too small. They already have the Envista and Encore so they could’ve made the Envision the size of the Rogue, RAV4 and equinox. I’d love more space
The 2023 and upcoming 2024 Envision are already the same size as the 2024 Equinox and 2024 Terrain.
The Envision Plus is about the same size as the current (2023) Acadia and the current 2024 Blazer.
The 24 Acadia is going to be bigger, like the Enclave and Traverse, ao once the 2023 Acadias are gone, GM won’t have a crossover-sized SUV with 3 rows in the US. Maybe they will bring the Envision Plus over here once the Acadia moves up to the midsize segment. I am sure there are plenty of current-gen Acadia owners who like that size and do not want to go bigger, not to mention the price increase on the 2024 Acadia.
If this had been an alternative I would have bought it instead of my ‘22 Acadia. I didn’t want an Enclave size anymore and the Envision is too small. Should they decide to bring it here I would probably trade the Acadia which has been a good vehicle.
No Chinese built vehicles for me. Too many American-made alternatives to be had,
