Time is running out to win this gorgeous 1968 Pontiac Firebird Convertible! Offered as the grand prize in a sweepstakes, the lucky new owner will also take home $18,000 to cover taxes. Sweepstakes proceeds will go to support charity.
Get your sweepstakes tickets here.
The sweepstakes is available through Dream Giveaway, and is offered as a fundraising effort to support New Beginning Children’s Homes. First opening its doors in 2010, New Beginning Children’s Homes is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization on a mission to provide a safe and therapeutic living environment for abused, neglected, and displaced children, ages 5 through 17. Children are provided a safe, family atmosphere in which they can grow, heal, and be loved.
As for the grand prize, this 1968 Pontiac Firebird was originally delivered new to Miller Auto Company in White Haven, Vermont, and features a 350 HO engine, 4BBL carb, and dual rear exhaust. The V8 connects to a four-speed manual transmission, making this particular example one of 3,784 Pontiac Firebirds built for the ’68 model year with the 350 HO engine and four-speed manual.
Presenting in excellent condition following a full rotisserie restoration, the Firebird retains its original triple-black color combination with a standard black interior, Tuxedo Black exterior paint, and black top. Further highlights include red exterior striping, a hood-mounted tachometer, and F70x14 Red – Wide Oval tires, as well as an electric clock, AM radio, power steering, and power disc brakes.
With a full restoration and 320-horsepower V8 engine, this 1968 Pontiac Firebird Convertible is certainly one very sweet ride, but the sweepstakes also includes $18,000 to help cover taxes for the lucky new owner.

why o why did i sell my 68 400 :-/
Good Day Mr. Busy
I would think that you had sold your 68 Firebird 400 ci (335HP reflected on Air Cleaner cover?) due to the possible fact that most at the time truly believed that Stock Muscle Cars would only improve, but never vanish from the New Vehicle Showrooms. Very Sad to say, unfortunately c’est la vie!
Cheers Mr. Busy and hope that one of us many Car Guys will Win this Gem and give it a Good Home for Life.
