The 2024 Chevy Silverado EV got its big reveal early in 2022, debuting an all-new, all-electric iteration of the popular pickup nameplate. The first two equipment groups out the gates are the fleet-oriented 3WT and 4WT, with the retail-oriented RST First Edition set to follow in early 2024. Now, we’re taking a closer look at the feature list for the 2024 Chevy Silverado EV RST, comparing it to the 3WT and 4WT for good measure.
Despite the fleet-oriented nature of the 3WT and 4WT, both equipment groups are relatively well-equipped, as GM Authority has covered previously. Now, we’re seeing how they line up against the 2024 Chevy Silverado EV RST.
Check out the table below for more information on the standard and available features for the 2024 Chevy Silverado EV RST, covering comfort and convenience, safety, seating, exterior, and mechanical:

While the 3WT and 4WT both include a number of comfort and convenience features, the 2024 Chevy Silverado EV RST stands out for things like its rear heating/cooling air vents, 11-inch digital Driver Information Center, 14-inch head-up display, 17.7-inch touchscreen, wireless phone charging, and premium Bose stereo. The RST also equips GM Super Cruise as standard.
The Seating features are also a notable point of departure, with the 2024 Chevy Silverado EV RST running 12-way power adjustable seats, heated and ventilated seats, and a sporty flat-bottom steering wheel.
On the mechanical side of the equation, the 2024 Chevy Silverado EV RST offers 800-volt quick charge capacity up to 350 kW (as compared to 300 kW for the two WT equipment groups). The RST also rums the same GM Ultium battery (RPO code ETN) as the 4WT equipment group, and it includes Active Rear Steering as standard, four-wheel Adaptive Air Ride suspension with adjustable ride height, and Continuous Damping Adaptive Ride Control.
We’ll have plenty more to say about the new 2024 Chevy Silverado EV RST in the near future so stay tuned, and remember to subscribe to GM Authority for more Chevy Silverado EV news, Chevy Silverado news, Chevy news, GM electric vehicle news, GM technology news, and around-the-clock GM news coverage.
Comments
Are these for sale yet? I have not seen any in the wild or on lots here in the “crossroads “.
The work truck is on sale, the RST goes on sale sometime in the next several months.
Delayed until 2025
They are ugly to me and I love Chevy silverados.
10-4 Roger that!
And totally worthless in Alaska.
Then don’t buy it in Alaska.
2025 model year. It will be available for sale in a couple of months.
The conversation of the Orion plant to EV truck production is delayed until 2025, but the Silverado will continue to be produced at Factory Zero.
They are so late to the game! Might as well hold off until flying trucks are a thing. I’m sure Chevy will be a couple model years behind on that too.
I stopped by my local Checy Dealer asking them if they’ve got a price on this particular RST vehicle as the WT (work Truck) version has not arrived (yet!) and then I got the staggering news about the cost of this EV Truck. The one pictured here, nicely loaded but not with the lighest horsepower drivetrain, with “Dealer Added Fair Market Value Sticker” added came to a litle over (ready for this?)
$104,000 plus tax and license, which in SoCal comes to about another 11% added onto the actual “out the door price” so when all is said and done (providing the dealer does not ask anymore than what they’ve already added) we’re talking around $115,000. Uh Huh…well, thanks, but no thanks! OMG, I was thinking maybe, maybe 85 grand out the door, and even at that price it’s 15 to 20 grand over a nice Silverado LT but when you are approaching close to 120 Grand for an EV Pickup, I think it’s time regroup and unless you’ve got the cash on hand and the ability to “charge in your garage” and can swing the monthly payments (you don’t even want to know…and NO there won’t be any “deals” being given out, at least not yet) I’ve seriously backed off looking seriously at this particular truck. And “NO” the Ford Lightening was never a consideration, not that it probably isn’t a decent EV Truck (although I’ve heard some nasty things lately about this truck) and the local Ford dealer does have a bunch of them on their lot, ready for delivery (gee, I wonder why that is, hummm) but I’m a GM guy all the way, however I’m going to stick with a gas powered GMC Sierra Denali, they’ve been real good to me so why not stick with whatever works for you? Was just curious what these Chevy EV Trucks (the RST) were going to go for, and in truth, the $76,000 fairly loaded (2WD) GMC Denali is looking better all the time!. Okay, ‘Nuff said.
Boycott any dealer that adds a “market adjustment,” and let everybody know about it. The MSRP is already too high. With a small amount of online research you will find a dealer who will not add this extra.
I’m not going to be negative here. I really dig the home behind the grey truck in the second pic.
These trucks are going to stack up at dealerships and gm like ford with the lighting will lose billions in profit. Think we are starting to see the investors get hot under the collar with all these loses in profit. The money they spent in R&D will never be recouped.
I wonder about these options.
–what format is the 240v going to be?
–why is WT lower on the offboarding power of 7.2 vs 10.2? Would it not have been cheaper to mass produce 1 common?
–what is the difference between keyless open and start on wt VERSUS open and power on?
–unless I missed it all trucks should have heated front seats and steering at least in the colder climates but seems not
–why the size mismatch of LT265/70R18 all-season blackwall and LT225/65R18 all-season blackwall spare tires? Or is this no longer a problem with electric drives?
The issue is price and confidence in the Ultium battery pack. GM has the problems of a startup car company which is not supposed to happen. On the plus side from the reviews of the WT BRAVO GM for making the first practical EV Truck.
I love my 2013 Avalanche, have solar panels and ev charging at home so I really wanted this “upgrade”. I find out the cost and certain details (one is no covered bed, which can be rectified) and now I’m not so sure. But I’m a Chevy/GMC guy so I’ll wait and see for now. Bummer.
