The 2024 Chevy Tahoe introduces the fifth-generation SUV’s fourth model year, debuting only minor changes compared to the preceding 2023 model year. Now, however, we’re taking a closer look at the 2024 Chevy Tahoe with the following pricing breakdown, including MSRP, powertrain and drivetrain options, packages, paint options, and more.
Kicking it off is the 2024 Chevy Tahoe trim level lineup, with customers offered a total of six different trims, including LS, LT, Z71, RST, Premier, and the range-topping High Country. Pricing starts at $58,195 for LS, $63,695 for LT, $69,295 for Z71, $66,295 for RST, $71,295 for RST, $71,595 for Premier, and $76,895 for High Country, which all include a $1,995 destination freight charge.
Nearly every trim level is equipped with rear-wheel drive as standard, while four-wheel drive is optional. The only exception to this is the off-road-oriented Z71, which is equipped with four-wheel drive as standard.
Under the hood, the 2024 Chevy Tahoe offers three engine options, including the naturally aspirated 5.3L V8 L84 gasoline engine (355 horsepower at 5,600 rpm, 383 pound-feet of torque at 4,100 rpm), the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine (420 horsepower at 5,600 rpm, 460 pound-feet of torque at 4,100 rpm), and finally, the 3.0L I6 LM2 turbodiesel Duramax engine (277 horsepower at 3,750 rpm, 460 pound-feet of torque at 1,500 rpm). Each engine option connects to the GM 10-speed automatic transmission.
Standout factory options include the GM Super Cruise system (RPO code UKL), which offers hands-free driver assistance during extended highway driving, and is priced at $2,200. Super Cruise is only available for Premier and High Country trim levels. There’s also the Rear-Seat Media System (RPO code UW9), which is priced at $1,995 and is available for every trim with the exception of the base-level LS.
As for the exterior paint palette, a total of nine colors are offered, only two of which are available for an extra charge. The two extra-charge colors include Iridescent Pearl Tricoat (paint code G1W, $995) and Radiant Red Tintcoat (paint code GNT, $495).

I agree. And as much as people want to blame the auto industry, it really is mostly inflation. In 2000, and brand new Tahoe msrp was $39,544. Adjust for inflation in 2023, thats equivalent to just over $70,000. So yeah these prices are due to inflation. Don’t thank just Brandon for that. Thank ever single president and congress that continued to print money out of thin air thereby killing the purchasing power of the dollar.
exactly, everyone is so quick to blame the current administration, but they seem to forget Trump with his tax cuts, added $7.8 trillion to the deficit, which devalues the money and fuel inflation, all the while nothing else got done…and it still goes on today..congress hasnt done a thing; normal they pass over 300 piece of legislation a year, this past year it was 72, too busy filling their pockets and playing the blame games
Scott you clearly don’t understand economics and are history challenged. The tax cuts didn’t add 7.8 trillion. Tax cut fuel an economy which creates more industry and revenue which generates more tax money. Tax cuts are always positive for a society. The addition to the deficit was not 7.8 trillion it was 2.4 trillion which was emergency stimulus spending because of covid and proposed by the democratic congress. The deficit goes up because of interest which is killing us right now. China joes increased regulatory policies are driving inflation which is up 17% since 2020, directy coupled with printing more money, directly devalueing the dollar. America needs to stop funding wars and sending money to any other country, period. We need our money to fix our own problems and the the world handle their own issues. Ukraine is a proven money laundering opportunity to kickback funds to politicians and the military industrial complex. Stop with you talking points of orange man bad and decouple from group think. You embarrass yourself.
i mean these arent for the working families. they are for the rich stay home housewives to go to target in at 2pm
all i see driving them around. next to my housewife that is. see walking cliche 🙁
Brandon, as you put it, has nothing to do with it. This has been coming for years, corporate greed. Try looking up what the ceos of these companies make; mary barra makes $29 million a year, James FArley of Ford makes $21 million. I could go on and on..union worker make nothing compared to the greedy corporate ceos. Its been going this way since Reagan; This didnt just happen….the national debt under Trump went up $7.8 trillion dollars with all his tax cuts to the rich and corporations. Do some research before you make inaccurate blanket statements.
You need to add atleast 10k to all these prices for the the crap the dealer is going to add on. If I could order direct delivery and not go through a dealer I buy a Tahoe today. But since I have to deal with a private dealer forget GM
