About GMC Sierra
The 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 introduced only a handful of changes and updates compared to the refreshed 2022 Sierra 1500.
The big news for 2023 was the debut of the first-ever 2023 GMC Sierra AT4X AEV Edition as the most off-road-capable factory Sierra 1500 ever.
For 2024, the GMC Sierra 2.7L engine is called TurboMax. Additionally, the 2024 Sierra AT4X will offer the LZ0 Duramax diesel engine to provide more low-end torque while off-roading, joining the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine for available powerplants.
Also, the 2024 Sierra 1500 offers a new drop-in bedliner.
Pricing details for the 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 show that, compared to the previous model year, the entry-level Pro trim level is now $600 more expensive. Meanwhile, the SLE, Elevation, and SLT trims are $1,100 cheaper as the 3 Years of OnStar and Connected Services Plan (RPO code R9M) is no longer included as standard, replaced with 3 Year of OnStar Remote Access (RPO code PRF). The Denali is $900 more expensive while the Denali Ultimate is $400 more. The AT4 trim drops by $600.
Furthermore, for 2024 both the AT4X and the AT4X AEV Edition equipped with the L87 engine are $1,000 cheaper due to the aforementioned OnStar connected services plan changes. Additionally, the starting price for the AT4X and AT4X AEV Edition each drops by $2,500, as the 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax engine is now fitted as standard for the 2024 model year, whereas the more-expensive naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine was the exclusive powertrain offered, which is now optional.
In August, the 2024 Sierra 1500 received a destination freight charge increase of $100 to bump the total to $1,995.
The GMC Sierra 1500 now offers a ZR2 Spec Multimatic DSSV Shock System accessory for the 2019 model year or later Sierra 1500, with a design and tuning intended to provide the truck with improved off-road performance.
The online configurator tool is live for the 2024 Sierra 1500 and still live for the 2023 Sierra 1500.

Interesting how almost all the offers are on the trucks with the 4 cylinder TurboMax??
call me when its 18000 on the 6.2
2024 Pickup roof cracks:
3067 Silverados identified plus another 892 hd … so almost 4000 trucks affected … that GM owns up to! What’s next?
That’s not quality control! Who do they think they are kidding?
Even if that is .5% out of a million plus trucks made per year… that is inexcusable! They were made, assembled, shipped and distributed/ sold before the defect “popped” up?
How about hire a couple of gorillas with crowbars and pull every 100th or so cab off the line and see if the welds holds together? Now that WOULD be quality control! I’m sure Fain would be happy to sign them up to the UAW. The cost wouldn’t even register on GM’s bottom line of 70 to 80 billion in revenue for truck sales alone!
Please tell me that there are more people who feel like I do … is there any semblance of responsibility and common sense left?
How embarrassing. I’m disgusted.

Where’s the discounts on the HD models. That would get my attention.
