GM To Reimburse Double Charge For Chevy Silverado HD All-Terrain Tires

GM is offering a customer satisfaction program to refund some 2024 Chevy Silverado HD purchasers who were double charged for a specific set of all-terrain tires on their pickup truck.

The double charge occurred in the case of certain Silverado HD trucks when the buyer ordered both the Alaskan Snow Plow Special Edition Package (RPO code ANQ) and the LT275/70R18E all-terrain tires (RPO code QF6), with the charge mistakenly applying to the tires only.

Dealerships are instructed to use the GM Global Warranty Management system to check the status of potentially affected 2024 Chevy Silverado HD and 2024 GMC Sierra HD trucks before proceeding with the refund process. Affected pickups are marked “Open” on their Investigate Vehicle History screen.

Owners of affected 2024 Chevy Silverado HD and 2024 GMC Sierra HD units are also required to present three forms of proof before receiving the refund. These include a letter from The General informing them of the double charge and refund, the vehicle registration for the affected truck, and a driver’s license or other form of state-issued ID that matches the information on the other documents.

Once the owner of the Silverado HD has proven their eligibility for the double charge refund, the dealer is to issue them a check in the amount of $200.

As expected, the remedy offered in this customer satisfaction program bulletin is noted as requiring no parts. The program will remain active until February 28th, 2026, or slightly more than two years from the date of the bulletin.

Owners of 2024 Chevy Silverado HD trucks who were affected by the double charge, and who want more information or have additional questions, can reach Chevrolet customer service at the number provided below, referencing the Customer Satisfaction Program identifier as needed:
