About Chevrolet Trax

GM debuted the next-generation 2024 Chevy Trax well over a year ago as the Bow Tie’s new entry-level crossover, incorporating Chevy’s latest ICE-based design language, taking after the Chevy Blazer crossover.

Inside, the new 2024 Chevy Trax is roomier than the preceding model, and offers more safety features and tech, including six advanced safety and driver awareness technologies via Chevy Safety Assist, and a standard eight-inch diagonal infotainment screen. LT, 2RS, and Activ trims get an 11-inch screen. Active Noise Cancelation and Adaptive Cruise Control are offered on most trims.

The 2024 Chevy Trax’s turbocharged 1.2L I3 LIH gasoline engine develops 137 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and 162 pound-feet of torque at 2,500 to 4,000 rpm. Additionally, the 2024 Trax boasts improved fuel economy over the previous-generation 2022 Chevy Trax.

Furthermore, the 2024 Chevy Trax offers a new Blackout Package and new roof rack cross rails.

Praise for the Bow Tie brand’s subcompact crossover continues to pour in.

The 2024 Chevy Trax was one of 10 GM models among North American Car of the Year candidates, competing with six of those in the 2024 North American Utility Vehicle of the Year category.

In addition, the all-new Chevy Trax won the J.D. Power 2024 U.S. ALG Residual Value Award.

Furthermore, the next-gen Chevy Trax was named among Car and Driver 10Best Trucks and SUVs for 2024.

The online configurator tool is live for the 2024 Chevy Trax.

Ordering for the 2025 Chevy Trax kicks off this month. Also, the 2025 Trax gets two new paint colors and gains an E85-compatible engine, making it a flex fuel-capable vehicle.

  1. A good-looking small SUV that isn’t worth the money. Tiny 3-cylinder engine & not all too good reliability per CU/ I can purchase a current generation Equinox off lease certified with a 4-cylinder engine, more cargo room and a better ride. So why would I want to buy a Trax?
