About Chevrolet Malibu

The 2023 Chevy Malibu ushered in a variety of important changes and updates compared to the 2022 Chevy Malibu. The biggest news is that the midsize sedan no longer offered the Premier trim level nor the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LTG gasoline engine, along with the GM nine-speed automatic transmission.

The 2024 Chevy Malibu arrives as the ninth model year of the ninth-generation nameplate with just a handful of changes and updates over the 2023 Malibu. One those includes the 2024 Chevy losing the standard spare wheel and tire combo, replaced by GM’s tire inflator kit. Here’s everything that’s new and different for the 2024 Malibu.

Furthermore, pricing uncovered for the 2024 Malibu shows the base LS being the sole trim level to get a bump, and only $100 at that. Check out all the 2024 Malibu pricing with options.

According to J.D. Power, the Chevy Malibu has top-quality seats, currently the best in its segment.

Production of 2024 Malibu is currently scheduled to end on May 30th.

  1. I hope Chevrolet read this , You guys should redesign the 2025 Malibu and put blazer 2.0 with was as optional in it as base engine and as the highest trim engine should be the Cadillac 2.7 with 310hp with standard awd also they should bring the price down to 24,900$ so the price would be more attractive than its competitors, They should bring over and rebuild the Chevrolet Monza and bring it to the states and put the Chevy Trailblazer 1.3 in it with the 9speed and start the price around 19,100$ it and the highest trim would be 23,400$ . If they bring it back the trims should be (1LS , 1LT , RS , 2LT) since Chevrolet is getting rid of Premier trim on most of their cars. Now starting with the Sonic. Just bring over the Chevy onix and rename it the sonic and make the price around 16,650$ and highest trim could be 19,910$ The trims should be (1LS , 1RS , LT , 2RS ) and put the Trax 1.2 in it with the CVT

  3. That, you must be kidding. Don’t you realize that the people who control GM, and particularly Chevy, are way smarter than any of us? Makes you wonder how come when they have more or less perfected any particular model into a really nice car, they dump it.

  5. The Malibu is a garbage car I own a 2017 with under 80000 miles on it and its the 4 cyl turbo one started off as a great car then it started having all types of problems.. turn out GM knows about the problem and its not covered if ya warranty runs out and its not a recall but over 80000 people have had the similar problem where the cam shift vacuume pump and other parts that work as one fail. Several people are even suing the company seeing you can have sometimes 30000 miles on it and it happens one lady had the problem fixed 3 times already its a poor build so mo I would not recommend the Malibu at all. I have the pics of the broken parts to prove it and im still paying on it and its still broken so I’m paying for a car I can’t drive. They charge for the diagnostic and to fix it its 3500 bucks for a car I owe less than 6 grand on… buying Japanese cars for now on keep the chevys. Don’t believe me Google problems with chevy Malibu see for your self before you get screwed
