About Chevrolet Camaro

The 2024 Chevy Camaro arrived as the ninth and final model year of the current sixth generation, featuring a pair of special-edition variants. These include the 2024 Chevy Camaro ZL1 Garage 56 Edition, as well as the 2024 Chevy Camaro ZL1 Collector Edition, both of which offer their own unique content and varying levels of exclusivity to pay homage to the first-gen Camaro’s internal program code of “Panther.” The Collector Edition was offered on all trim levels, but only the ZL1 could be ordered with the Panther Black Matte paint, the first matte paint option ever offered on the Camaro.

A boatload of other changes for the 2024 Camaro included dropping two paint colors, the Shock and Steel Edition package, the lowered suspension package and the sway bar package, the 20-Inch Caliente wheels, the base 1LS trim level, and the turbo 2.0L LTG engine. Additionally, the 2024 Camaro SS 1LE Suspension Handling Package became unavailable while the full SS 1LE Track Performance Package remained available to order.

Pricing for the 2024 Camaro rose anywhere from $2,600 to $5,000, depending on trim level, along with a $200 increase to the destination freight charge to $1,595. Check out all of the 2024 Camaro pricing with options and packages.

Final units of the Camaro Convertible were produced on November 22nd and the last Camaro Coupe was built on December 14th, bringing production of the muscle car’s sixth generation to an end without an ICE successor in the works, marking the permanent the end of the Bow Tie brand’s muscle car – at least for now.

In March, GM slyly confirmed a next-generation Chevy Camaro will eventually be introduced to keep the nameplate alive. Global Chevrolet vice president Scott Bell stated, “While we are not announcing an immediate successor today, rest assured, this is not the end of Camaro’s story.”

Most recently, a Chevrolet spokesperson provided a statement about the end of 2024 Chevy Camaro production and that of the Camaro overall. “Camaro is a passion product,” noting that “it has developed a fan base across the world and has brought people into Chevrolet dealerships for generations.”

In summary, “the sixth generation specifically represented athleticism and composure – exuding confidence on the road and dominance on the track.”

Camaro is dead anyway, nobody wants it, that’s why it’s discontinued. Lack of interest and sales

More like lack of advertising and not one upping the competition.

Advertising would never have saved this deal. The segment is dying even the Chrysler and in time the Mustang will have to transform.

I’m a retired guy who bought a 2022 ZL1 red hot after owning two SS Camaros, 16 and 20. It runs outstanding with no issues and is admired at many car shows. I’ll never drive it to it’s full potential but keep in mind it only has to please one person..me.
