Now in its twelfth generation, the 2024 Chevy Suburban ushers in a single change with the arrival of the fourth model year. The originally expected mid-cycle refresh will now debut in a later year and the sole update is elimination of Auburn Metallic (G48) from the offered palette of Suburban paint colors.
Right now, GM Authority is zooming in on the exterior Suburban paint colors that continue to be offered for the 2024 model year.
The 2024 Chevy Suburban paint colors are available across the whole range of six trim levels, including the LS, LT, Z71, RST, Premier, and High Country trims, with the exception of Iridescent Pearl Tricoat (G1W), which is not offered on the base LS trim. Seven colors are available at no extra cost. Two are extra-charge, with Radiant Red Tintcoat (GNT) priced at $495 and Iridescent Pearl Tricoat at $995.
The table below gives all the details of the nine available paint colors, their pricing, and color codes:

Pricing for the 2024 Chevy Suburban has increased across the board, as GM Authority previously unveiled. GM has raised the base MSRP for every trim level, from LS to High Country, by $2,000 compared to 2023 pricing. Additionally, the destination freight charge or DFC has increased by $100 year-over-year, climbing to $1,995 from $1,895. As a result, these stacking price changes raise MSRP by $2,100 over 2023.
Buyers who want to try out different builds of the SUV can use the online configurator, which is currently live. Following delays likely caused by a recent UAW strike at its production facility and abandonment of the original November 6th, 2023 start of regular production (SORP) date, the 2024 Chevy Suburban has gone into production at the GM Arlington plant in Texas.
As a reminder, the 2024 Chevy Suburban is propelled by one of a trio of available powerplants. These are the naturally aspirated 5.3L V8 L84 gasoline engine developing 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque, the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine developing 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, and finally, the 3.0L I6 LM2 turbodiesel Duramax engine producing 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque.
The 2024 Chevy Suburban rides on the GM T1 platform. An exterior and interior overhaul is expected with the 2025 Chevy Suburban.

The only color I am seeing is red.
Red . . . a couple of whites . . . and 50 shades of grey. Remember back in the old days when manufacturers LISTENED to what customers wanted – – and then complied. About 25 years ago, I told the dealer I wanted a short bed, 2wheel drive pickup. He exclaimed, “We never have those. We only sell 4wheel drive trucks with long beds.” That is because you only stock that type. Why not give customers some kind of choice, instead of what YOU want to sell?
Mostly dark and dreary.
Pathetic. Only eight colors.
In 1957, Chevrolet’s color chart included 18 choices!!!
Let’s have some variety…PLEASE!!!!
the blue is nice irl.
Bring back Hunter Metallic Green, not the light green.
Just got a 2024 in Victory Red
