Production of the 2024 Cadillac Escalade and extended-length 2024 Cadillac Escalade ESV is under way, with only minor changes – including some adjustments to the lineup of Escalade paint colors – as the mid-cycle refresh was delayed until the 2025 model year.
Today, GM Authority is turning the spotlight on the available exterior Escalade paint colors for the 2024 Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV.
As noted, there are several changes to the 2024 Cadillac Escalade paint colors list, with Mahogany Metallic (paint code G48) dropped from the palette. Also, Black Diamond Tricoat (paint code GLK) is new, but an exclusive option for the high-performance Cadillac Escalade-V only, with limited availability.
The 2024 Cadillac Escalade comes in six different trim levels, which include the Luxury, Premium Luxury, Sport, Premium Luxury Platinum, Sport Platinum, and Escalade-V trims. Nine Escalade paint colors are offered for 2024, with one no-charge option, Black Raven (GBA).
The following table summarizes availability and pricing for the 2024 Escalade’s exterior paint colors:

Pricing for the 2024 Cadillac Escalade, including all options and packages, was first uncovered by GM Authority, and the official configurator is now live. Pricing for all trim levels except for the Escalade-V and Escalade-V ESV has grown by $1,200, while MSRP for Escalade-V and Escalade-V ESV variants is up by $1,700.
As a reminder, non-V Cadillac Escalade units are motivated by a pair of engine options. These include the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine developing 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque and the 3.0L I6 LM2 turbodiesel Duramax engine rated at 277 horsepowerand 460 pound-feet of torque.
Both engines make cog swaps with the GM 10-speed automatic transmission. The Escalade can be configured with either rear-wheel drive (RWD) or four-wheel drive (4WD).
All variants of the fifth-generation, ICE-powered Cadillac Escalade ride on the GM T1 platform. Production takes place exclusively at the GM Arlington plant in Texas.

Does anyone know what the difference is between the Black Raven and the Black Tricoat? I know the tricoat is only available on the V at this time.
The Black Diamond Tricoat has metal flakes in it that reflect light. It looks the same on a cloudy day, but looks much brighter when it has light to reflect. The difference is a solid colour vs. a metallic or pearlescent.
it looks sandblasted under the right (or wrong) conditions. always go for solid whites or blacks. pearl works best with light colors like green etc. my opinion ofc starring at cars for 30 years
had a pearl black in the 2000s. it literally never looked clean except at night when nothing reflected off the flakes
So basically the only really noticeable color is red. Pathetic.
There should be a contest on which color is discontinued first….
