General Motors just unveiled the 2025 Chevy Silverado HD, introducing several important updates and changes, including the new Silverado HD Trail Boss package (which GM Authority was the first to report), as well as expanded tech features, both standard and optional. Among the new tech items is expanded availability for the heavy-duty pickup’s Park Assist feature. To note, the 2025 Chevy Silverado HD introduces further updates over the refreshed 2024 model year.
The 2025 Chevy Silverado HD offers the Front and Rear Park Assist feature (RPO code UD5) as optional on WT, Custom, and LT trim levels. Front and Rear Park Assist is available via the Safety Package (RPO code PQA) for WT and Custom trim levels, and via a different Safety Package (RPO code PQB) for the LT trim level. This feature will replace the Rear Park Assist feature (RPO code UD7) currently offered as optional on WT, Custom, and LT trim levels for the 2024 model year.
Meanwhile, Front and Rear Park Assist will continue to be optional on LTZ trim levels as part of yet another Safety Package (RPO code PQB). Front and Rear Park Assist will not be fitted as standard on the Chevy Silverado HD ZR2. The ZR2 trim level did not offer any parking assist feature for the 2024 model year. Front and Rear Park Assist will once again be equipped as standard on the 2025 Chevy Silverado HD High Country.
In addition to the changes mentioned above, the 2025 Chevy Silverado HD will include Adaptive Cruise Control as standard on High Country trim levels, while a new Black-Out Package will be offered for Custom trims. The 2025 Chevy Silverado HD Midnight Edition will also offer new 20-inch wheels.
Additionally, the 2025 Chevy Silverado HD introduces a new Trail Boss package for LT and LTZ trims, which includes Z71 suspension components, unique 20-inch wheels, red recovery hooks, and more.
As a reminder, the Chevy Silverado HD offers two engine options, including the naturally aspirated 6.6L V8 L8T gasoline engine and the 6.6L V8 L5P turbodiesel Duramax engine. The more-capable variant of the GM T1 platform provides the underpinnings, while production takes place at the GM Flint plant in Michigan and GM Oshawa plant in Canada.

The article states that the new Trail Boss Package is available on the LT equipped trucks. Is that true for the Regular Cab configuration?
Any mention to expanding the LED headlights to regular LT trim trucks (without having to a blacked out or sports package)? Would be nice to keep the chrome bumpers and get LED headlights on an LT. Maybe it is part of a safety or convenience package to stand alone option?
Exactly what I was thinking. I ordered lt loaded but while I was waiting on it I changed my mind after building out lt z71 sport with more especially the new front. And was less than 2k diffence. In price so my dealer let me re order. My first truck just came in is on lot for sale. Now chevy announced added options for 25 models. Should have waited I guess

The midnight edition would be a great option if you can get different paint colors besides black. It should be offered across the entire high county line.
