Porsche has unveiled the 2024 Porsche Macan Electric, introducing a new battery-powered variant of the crossover nameplate and the brand’s second all-electric model. The 2024 Porsche Macan Electric will be sold alongside the current generation of the ICE-powered Porsche Macan, at least for the time being. GM currently does not offer a direct competitor for the 2024 Porsche Macan Electric, although The General has confirmed the forthcoming arrival of a new Cadillac V-Series EV, believed to be the Cadillac Lyriq-V.
The 2024 Porsche Macan Electric lineup incudes two trims, starting with the Macan 4, rated at 402 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque, sprinting from 0 to 60 mph in 4.9 seconds. The Macan Turbo serves as the range-topper, producing 630 horsepower and 833 pound-feet of torque, sprinting from 0 to 60 mph in 3.1 seconds. Top speed is rated at 136 mph in the Macan 4, and 161 mph in the Macan Turbo.
Both trims are propelled by a set of PSM electric motors driving the front and rear axles, with electrons provided by a 100 kWh (95 kWh active capacity) lithium-ion battery mounted under the floor. The 2024 Porsche Macan Electric also debuts Porsche’s 800-volt Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture, and includes fast-charge capabilities up to 270 kW. Plugged into the right source, the battery will recharge from 10 to 80 percent in roughly 21 minutes. Range per charge estimates will be announced closer to the start of deliveries.
Exterior dimensions include a 188.4-inch overall length, 84.7-inch overall width (including sideview mirrors), and 63.8-inch overall height. The wheelbase is 113.9 inches long, 3.4 inches longer than the previous model. Customers can option wheels up to 22 inches in diameter. There’s also Porsche Active Aerodynamics with active and passive elements that bring the coefficient of drag down to 0.25.
Inside, the 2024 Porsche Macan Electric offers up to 18 cubic feet of cargo room behind the rear bench and 46.5 cubic feet with the rear seat folded flat, while the frunk provides 2.9 cubic-feet of room.
Pricing for the 2024 Porsche Macan Electric starts at $78,800 for the Macan 4 and $105,300 for the Macan Turbo, not including $1,650 for delivery, processing, and handling. Orders are open now, and the first deliveries are expected by the second half of the 2024 calendar year.

Will GM step up with an Optiq V to compete? GM needs to play in this field even though they never did with the XT4 or XT5.
Looks like every other crossover, just more expensive.
Looks like a “Dinner Roll” with wheels.
I seen one of these or an MB like it, on the road, and it’s worse than that!
I will never understand how so many people fall for the snob appeal. Porsche without a doubt is the most overrated , overpriced and ugliest vehicle on the road . A dinner roll with wheels is an insult to dinner rolls
Porsche doesn’t do anything thinking about Cadillac. They are not even in the same universe.
I have to ask….what Cadillac rivals this Macan?
It would need to be the upcoming Optiq. Would need to be a V version though. Will GM do it?
