2024 Cadillac CT4-V: Everything That’s New And Different

The 2024 Cadillac CT4-V represents the fifth model year of the small performance luxury sedan, which made its debut for the 2020 model year. The fifth model year introduces a few small changes, and GM Authority is here to tell you exactly what’s new and different.
Model Line
The 2024 CT4-V model line does not see any changes, with the model continuing to be offered exclusively as a four-door sedan across a single trim level (model code 6DE69, equipment group 1SF) and in either rear-wheel-drive (standard) or all-wheel-drive (optional).
The 2024 Cadillac CT4 family also includes the “regular” CT4 (Luxury, Premium Luxury and Sport trims) and the ultra-high-performance 2024 CT4-V Blackwing.
Exterior
The only 2024 CT4 exterior changes are to the color palette, as four previously-available colors are replaced by four new hues.
Deleted exterior colors:
- Blaze Orange Metallic (GCF)
- Wave Metallic (GKK)
- Electric Blue (GMO)
- Rift Metallic (GRW)
New exterior colors:
- Velocity Red (G7C)
- Cyber Yellow Metallic (GCP)
- Coastal Blue Metallic (GJV)
- Black Diamond Tricoat (GLK)
Beyond that is the addition of optional Gloss Black V-badging, which is available exclusively with the Onyx Package (RPO code PDB). The package also includes 19-inch alloy wheels with Gloss Black finish (LPO SOU), Black spoiler (LPO 5ZV), and Black mirror caps (LPO 5JS).
Interior
Inside, the 2024 Cadillac CT4-V replaces the air ionizer feature with a pollutant, odor and fine dust air filter (K6L). In both cases, the feature was available solely with the Technology Package, optional on Premium Luxury and Sport trims.
Packages
The last changes are related to the model’s packages, where the CT4-V gains a new Red Accent Package (LPO PDK), which includes:
- 19-inch Low Gloss Black alloy wheels with Red accents (SOY)
- Blue wheel center cap (5ZF)
- Decals (5K2)
- Black wheel lug nuts (SPY)
- Black wheel locks (SPZ)
Finally, the 2024 Cadillac CT4-V gains 20th Anniversary V-Series Commemorative content, which includes 20th Anniversary grille header decal and a unique cluster wake up animation. This content is standard on all 2024 CT4-V models, and all other 2024 V-Series models.
GM didn’t make any changes to the CT4-V’s Driver Assist Tech or the Powertrain departments, so that’s all there is regarding actual changes. Normally, we’d say that this is an indication of an upcoming overhaul or mid-cycle refresh for a model, but that might not be the case this time around (see below).
The updates and changes described here are specific to the U.S. market and may be different for other markets.
As a reminder, the 2024 Cadillac CT4-V carries over its turbocharged 2.7L I-4 L3B gasoline engine (325 horsepower, 385 pound-feet of torque) and ten-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel-drive is standard, while all-wheel-drive is an extra-cost option.
Looking Ahead
The handful of changes for the 2024 model year follow the 2020 CT4-V, which was the model’s introductory year, followed by a few small changes and updates to the 2021 CT4-V, 2022 CT4-V and 2023 CT4-V. The 2025 CT4-V is expected to introduce a mid-cycle refresh. However, several factors – including slow sales and tepid demand – have us wondering if a refresh is even in the cards.
If a refresh does come about, then it would be similar to the updates announced for the 2025 Cadillac CT5 refresh, focused on revisions to the cockpit.

Really going to be bummed if there is no 2025 refresh. I’m planning to buy early 2025 and the current ’24 model production ends in May of this year. What are the odds a CT4V (non-BW) in the exact specs I want will be hanging around in the marketplace when I can purchase? Maybe I can score a better price if dealers are wanting to unload though…
uh slow sales, and tepid demand? that because all they push is suvs..not one commercial on TV for the CT4 or CT5 that ive seen….im so sick of boring, front drive, 4 cylinder suvs all the makers are pushing…they used to have such variety..now we get a small, medium and a large box in white, black or silver with a black interior…everyone is a bore now a days…ill keep my CTS coupe till the doors fall off and then ill buy some used coupe or sedan..i dont need a huge pickup or a ugly suv to drive around
I will keep my CTS Coupe kinda sad they’re not making coupes anymore I became a Cadillac fan when I found the CTS Coupe cause I was always a Camaro fan but I’m older now and wanted luxury so I went with the CTS Coupe . Now they gave up on the coupe they should have made it more attractive to the young BMW fans they would’ve got more sales
V6 should only be with the CT4 Vs. Make the CT5 V with AWD with V8 twin turbo. Or bring back the CT6 V to America. Maybe even make the Blackwings in AWD. 2WDs are a thing of the past. If America really wants to compete with the 🇩🇪 AMGs & Ms, then let’s do it right.
Currently debating trading my 23 CT5V for M3 COMPETITION or M8 COMPETITION COUPE. Would rather say 🇺🇸 tho
