So, it’s a great cause. The vehicles are quite nice as well, starting with the Cadillac Escalade-V. Equipped with the supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 gasoline engine, the Escalade-V doles out 682 horsepower and 653 pound-feet of torque, which reaches the ground through the GM Hydra-Matic 10-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. Properly applied, it’s enough to send the full-size SUV to 60 mph in a mere 4.4 seconds, completing the quarter mile in 12.74 seconds at 110 mph.
The Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is even wilder. Also equipped with the supercharged LT4 engine, the CT5-V Blackwing is rated at 668 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque, sending the sedan to 60 mph in about 3.5 seconds and down the quarter mile in 11.5 seconds around 125 mph. This particular example up for grabs in the sweepstakes is equipped with the optional GM 10-speed automatic transmission.

I’m not entering, so no way to win. But if I were and if I won them, I’d gladly accept the CT5 to keep and I’d immediately sell the Escalade for as much as I could or take a cash payout instead of that box. Then I’d use that money for the insurance, license fees, tax and fuel for that beautiful CT5.
That is if they can actually get their hands on the product when the time comes. Good luck with that.
