Watch The GMC Canyon AT4X Become A Mudern Artist: Video

The third-generation GMC Canyon made splashdown in August of 2022, debuting a variety of important updates and features. Among these was the introduction of the GMC Canyon AT4X, a new off-road-oriented trim level well-suited to splashing through in the local mud-soaked trails. Now, GM Canada is turning this fun pastime into an art form. Say hello to Mudern Art.

Big Red recently posted a video showing the artist hard at work. In the video, we see the GMC Canyon AT4X driving hard through some mud puddles, sending bits of sodden earth flying through the air. The soil is splashed onto an adjacent canvas, covering it in a thick layer of grime.

The end result is a trio of mudern art pieces, each with its own unique expression of off-road glory. These include “A Dance of Dirt and Drive”, created with the canvas attached to the grille of the truck, “Earth is a Journey”, created with the canvas towed behind the truck, and finally, “Tired” created with the canvas placed within the splash zone adjacent to the mud puddle.

“A sublime exploration of the kinetic tension between tire and terrain, ‘Tired’ beckons viewers to ponder the transient nature of the Canyon AT4X ripping through a puddle of mud in the middle of nowhere,” GMC writes in describing one of the pieces.

All three Mudern Art pieces are available for download at GMC Canada’s website.
