Some Crazy Person Turned A Chevy Camaro Into A Trike

Sometimes, when it comes to building a custom vehicle, some folks simply like to march to the beat of their own drum, and sometimes, the end result can be, well, a little crazy. We think this custom Chevy Camaro qualifies for a characterization like that. Up front, we see the lines of the classic Chevy, while in the rear, we see – a motorcycle?!

A custom Chevy Camaro trike.

Recently posted to Facebook Marketplace, this three-wheeled Camaro-motorcycle mashup is up for sale in Los Angeles, and frankly, there’s just so much to unpack here. Covered in primer gray with misaligned panels, it’s clear this project is far from complete, but the idea driving its creation is equally obvious.

Up front, we see the broad, flat nose of a classic Chevy Camaro, with a long hood line and an iconic five-spoke wheel design in the front corners. The interior looks chopped up, with a roll cage spotted through the side windows.

Viewed from the side, however, we see what basically amounts to a motorcycle stuffed under the rear panels. It’s unclear how the motorcycle is attached to the Chevy Camaro body, but the builder went so far as to narrow the rear body panels into a V-shaped tail, smoothing out the lines with what we can only guess to be a considerable amount of body filler putty.

The details on this thing are sketchy, at best. The seller lists their creation as a “Valkyrie reverse Trike 68 Camero [sic],” adding that it “needs finishing.” For those readers who may be unaware, the Valkyrie is a Honda motorcycle produced between 1997 and 2003, featuring a 1,520cc liquid-cooled flat-six engine. Output at the rear wheel is measure at 100 horsepower and 102 pound-feet of torque.

Talk about an ambitious project. All in all, we’d say that it’s certainly a unique take on the classic Chevy Camaro.

  1. It looks more like a bunch of fiberglass body panels, and not something that was ever really a Camaro, or at least it hasn’t been much of one for some time.

  2. Hopefully, a “mangled beyond saving” Camaro was used for this build. I guess the old saying applies…”just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.”

  3. Another “Camero”?
