Refreshed 2025 Cadillac Escalade Prototype Shows Off New 24-Inch Wheels

Just a few days ago, GM Authority published a new series of spy photos showing a prototype of the refreshed 2025 Cadillac Escalade out for testing. As covered previously, the prototype provided an early look at the 2025 Cadillac Escalade styling, which includes design cues taken from the all-electric Escalade IQ. Now, we’re taking another look at that refreshed 2025 Cadillac Escalade prototype, this time focusing on the wheels.

A prototype of the refreshed 2025 Cadillac Escalade.

In the corners of this prototype, we spot a new set of 24-inch wheels. As GM Authority was the first to report earlier this year, GM’s refreshed full-sized SUVs will offer new 24-inch wheel options, and the rollers seen here fall in line with our previous reporting.

Notably, the wheel design seen here is similar to one of the three wheel designs offered by the Cadillac Escalade IQ. The wheel layout includes seven spokes with a split down each spoke, fanning out to the outer edge of the wheel and showing off a silver finish. The spoke split is off-center, providing more visual weight to the front of the spoke and creating a sense of forward movement. The center caps on the wheels of this prototype appear to be missing, but we can certainly imagine finding a Cadillac logo placed right in the center of the wheels when the refreshed 2025 Cadillac Escalade officially starts rolling off the production line.

Of course, we should also mention that these particular wheels utilize a six-lug setup, as compared to the eight-lug setup utilized by the all-electric Cadillac Escalade IQ.

As GM Authority covered previously, the refreshed 2025 Cadillac Escalade will feature front-end styling that draws inspiration from the all-electric Escalade IQ, including large, vertically oriented lighting elements running along either side of the fascia, as well as slim upper lighting signatures along the top of the fascia. The refreshed Escalade will also feature a pillar-to-pillar / coast-to-coast, full-width digital display, and a new diesel engine option, specifically, the 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax. Further information on the refreshed 2025 Cadillac Escalade can be found here.

  1. If I own the ’25 model with the revised suspension tuning, I will stick with “22 rims for smoother ride quality. It will be interesting in future road test of comparing the prefresh suspension versus the new.

  2. Bigger wheels = worse ride and UG LEE – imo

    1. The worst thing is when they combine desirable options or colors with bigger wheels. I’m looking for a Platinum CT6 but can’t find one with less than 20″ wheels.

    2. They got 50 series tires, just as the 20 inches do

  3. 26 model year- 28 inch rims. These things are starting to look like life sized Hot Wheels at this point.

  4. God help you if you have to change a tire. Must be incredibly heavy and unwieldy trying to mount.

  5. I’ve always preferred bigger wheels. 22’s are nice, but 24’s look awesome! Especially on a vehicle that has a lowered stance.

H@ll of a lot better than all these jacked up trucks (mall crawler’s) that hardly anyone uses them off-roading!!

  6. I’ve seen better renderings on-line.

Please show up to date 2025 Escalade.

    Do your reseach!
