Just one model year removed from a mid-cycle refresh, the 2025 model year of the Cadillac XT4 is expected to introduce minor updates for the luxury crossover. Now, GM Authority has learned when production of the 2025 Cadillac XT4 is currently scheduled to commence.

Sources close to the matter have told GM Authority that production of the 2024 XT4 is expected to end on May 31st, 2024. As such, the start of regular production (SORP) of the 2025 model year is currently scheduled to kick off on June 3rd, 2024.

Of sources, an important piece to bear in mind is that these dates are tentative in nature and subject to change at any time.

Moving around back, the rear fascia has also been tweaked, and boasts dual through-fascia exhaust outlets with bright tips. Three new paint colors were added as well, including Emerald Lake Metallic, Midnight Sky Metallic and Deep Sea Metallic.

As for the interior, the overhauled cabin is underscored by 33-inch, 9K-resolution LED color touchscreen. Additional goodies include an available 14-speaker audio system from AKG, 5G Wi-Fi hotspot capability, and wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto capability.

Under the hood, the luxury crossover is equipped with the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine, which is rated at 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. Output is routed through the GM nine-speed automatic transmission, while both FWD and AWD are both available.

In regard to structure, the 2025 Cadillac XT4 rides on the GM E2 platform, while production takes place at the GM Fairfax Assembly plant in Kansas City.

  6. I absolutely love the changes Cadillac has made for the 2024 XT4, however, it is simply too small of an SUV for what I need.
The XT5 is what I currently drive ( 2022 ) and not sure if I will stick to Cadillac in the future if their entire product line moves to EV only. I’m not there yet as I’m sure many of you diehards are in the same boat as me. I just hope that by 2027 Cadillac will still offer something like the XT6 in non-electric form.

  7. I hope they don’t drop the hokey, cheesy, Kenworth vertical front marker lights. How else do you know it’s a Caddy ?

    1. Other comments I’ve seen compare it to a high trim level Honda CRV in appearance…except that front end you mentioned.
