Sources close to the matter have told GM Authority that the start of regular production (SORP) of the 2025 Buick Envista is currently scheduled to kick off on May 6th, 2024. Meanwhile, production of the 2024 Buick Envista is expected to conclude on May 5th, 2024.

It’s worth noting that these dates are tentative in nature and subject to change as General Motors deems necessary.

For the 2025 model year, the Envista should only feature minor updates, boasting a design language inspired from the Buick Wildcat EV concept car. Three distinct trim levels should still be on offer, including Preferred, Sport Touring (ST), and range-topping Avenir.

On the inside, the Envista boasts gobs of legroom, along with 20.7 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seat and 42 cubic feet with the rear seats folded down. The cabin itself is highlighted by an 11-inch diagonal infotainment screen, which contributes to 19 inches of total screen space, while a flat-bottom steering wheel is standard fare across the lineup.

The Buick driver confidence package is also equipped as standard, and includes Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, IntelliBeam automatic high beams, and more. Further safety and driver assist technologies are also available.

Under the hood, the entire Envista lineup is equipped as standard with the same powertrain combination, which includes the turbocharged 1.2L I3 LIH gasoline engine, rated at 136 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque, and the GM six-speed automatic transmission.

In regard the structure, the Envista rides on the GM VSS-F vehicle set, while production takes place at the GM Bupyeong plant in South Korea.

  2. Shame to see a American car company producing cars in a foreign country. How about building in America for American people.

    1. Cause I’m sure that you own NOTHING that was made outside the USA?

  5. I’ve seen two of these already over X-mas weekend. Quite a good looking car and looks sleeker in person. Hopefully it’ll be a sales success for Buick and help maintain the brands viability in the US.

  7. Mary Barra is offshoring more and more products.
The envista is made in South Korea. What a shame that GM has become a woke shell of the once great company under Barra’s fumbling leadership.
    Make those vehicles here
    And export Mary over there

  8. Another junk Gm great job. Once again building crap Americans don’t want. Building cars that don’t last in the long run. If Trax or Buick had a Toyota 4 cyl. and Trans I would consider. But that won’t happen. Good luck with your same old ways. I’m looking for a civic now.

  9. Make it an AWD and I would buy it!

    1. I believe the Chevy Trailblazer is basically the AWD version of this car. I saw that one of the new Chevy’s that is using this same platform had the AWD so they didn’t put it on the Envista.

  10. Several of you seem to totally forget that GM tried the “built in the USA” compact car….it was called Saturn. I owned 2 of them, both were good cars. However, GM F=ed that up. Today, I drive a 2016 Chevy Cruise Limited (the last of the larger looking ones). Had is since it was brand new.
