Here Is 2024 Chevy Traverse Pricing With Options And Packages

General Motors unveiled the 2024 Chevy Traverse this past July, debuting an all-new third generation for the full-size, three-row crossover. Now, GM Authority is taking a closer look with the following pricing breakdown, including all of the 2024 Chevy Traverse options and packages on offer.

A total of four trim levels are available, starting with the entry-level LS, followed by the mid-grade LT and off-road-oriented Z71, and topped by the sporty RS. Pricing starts at $38,995 for LS, $41,395 for LT, $47,795 for Z71, and $55,595 for RS. Pricing listed here includes the $1,395 destination freight charge (DFC).

Note that LS, LT, and RS trims include front-wheel drive as standard and offer all-wheel drive as optional, while the 2024 Chevy Traverse Z71 includes all-wheel drive as standard. It’s also worth noting that the 2024 Chevy Traverse trim level lineup has changed considerably compared to the preceding 2023 model year, as has pricing for carryover trims.

As expected, the new Traverse once again offers a variety of options and packages, including the Midnight Edition package and the Sport Edition package, both of which are tagged with RPO code WJU. These packages were offered for the 2023 model year as well, and both once again include a number of exterior aesthetic upgrades for the 2024 model year, such as black badging, black moldings, 20-inch High Gloss Black painted wheels, and more. Critically, the Midnight Edition package is available exclusively with Mosaic Black Metallic exterior paint, while the Sport Edition package is available with the rest of the exterior paint palette.

Also notable is the inclusion of the semi-autonomous GM Super Cruise system, which is available on the Chevy Traverse for the first time in conjunction with the 2024 model year. Super Cruise is not available for the base-level LS trim level, but is included as standard for RS. LT and Z71 trims offer Super Cruise as part of the Enhanced Driving Package (RPO code Y5T). Super Cruise is not offered as a standalone option for the 2024 Chevy Traverse.

  1. Do we know if there will be an option on the Z71 trim to not have any of the red interior detailing?

  2. Quite the price increase. Good luck selling these after people see the residuals…

    1. ??? Why would residuals be poor or any different than current traverse???

Other than maybe an accountant with no life, who looks at residuals when buying a new car?

    2. Compared to what? It’s starting slightly under the starting price of a Toyota Highlander. Considering the major quality issues with Toyota and Honda vehicles, I wouldn’t be bringing up residuals. Guys are trying to get out of their 2022-23 Tundras due to the major engine issues and…. OUCH… they’re getting burned. Turns out Tundras with crank bearing failure due to LSPI are not holding up in residual value.

    3. Will the RS offer option for 8-passenger seats?, or just 7-passenger seats?

  3. Any word on when they will be available? A quick perusal of several dealership websites do not show any in stock.

  4. Anyone know what “Special Ride and Handling suspension” is?

  5. So, when are they available? We’ve been waiting for this for awhile. I agree with another commenter can we change any interior trim on the Z71?

  6. Now the factory is talking March/April availability. This late in a model year should make a 2025 designation more appropriate. An early release on a NEW model would help on value and desirability. I’ve been trying to buy a new Traverse for a year and been loosing the fight based on inventory or availability of options! GM needs to clean up their mess with old parts and out of date factory production methods. Our local dealers aren’t happy!

    1. I heard Jan 4th but of course that’s hearsay. If it is March/April I may move on to another SUV from somewhere else. I’ve been waiting patiently to get the 2024 Traverse and have run my old car to the ground. Buying a 2024 car mid year of 2024 should offer a discount.

      1. It won’t even in production before February, so having availability before they exist would be quite the feat!

  7. It would be nice to be able to order the Z71 with a bench seat instead of the middle row captains chairs. I would run this with the 3rd row folded down for storage and would love to have the ability to carry 5 passengers.

  8. Does anyone know if the new engine will run on regular or high test fuel?

  9. It’s basically $50,000 to get the Z71, which is the best model. Adding literally anything to that basically puts you at 55k. For a Chevrolet Traverse. I realize this isn’t just a GM problem, but somebody out there needs to figure out how to get this in line. And not by doing what the Trax did, screwing over the powertrains to get an at least semi-reasonable price. Cars just aren’t worth this much. Enough is enough.

  10. can this Z71 drive in the snow?

    Reply
    1. Anything can drive in the snow if you’re brave enough.

But yes, the Z71 has a twin-clutch AWD system along with A/T tires, so it’s more capable. Honestly, any trim with a set of snow tires would be plenty though.

      Reply
  11. Can A/T tires be in the snow and under 30 celcus degree? Just because I live in Massachusetts. When the car availabe to buy? Thank you!

  12. how does the down payment affect the residual?

    Reply
    1. On a lease? It doesnt. Your down payment is paying toward the usage, not the residual. Only thing that will affect residual is the amount of mileage you choose up front.

As for a purchase price, its just your balance owed. Down payment will leave less to payoff.
