Now in the third model year of its first generation, the 2024 GMC Hummer EV Pickup debuts several important updates and changes from the 2023 model year. These include the introduction of the 2 and 2X trim levels alongside the range-topping 3X trim, while dropping the special Edition 1 that was offered only for the 2022 and 2023 model years.
Today, GM Authority is taking a closer look at the available interior colorways and materials offered for the 2024 GMC Hummer EV Pickup.
The Hummer EV Pickup will be produced in three trim levels, though only the 2X and 3X trims are currently in production. It seems likely, though it is not yet confirmed, that the 2 trim level will have the same interior colors as the 2X.
Each trim level has two available colorways, both of which are offered in conjunction with all available exterior paint colors. The following table shows availability:
Interior | Seat | Color Code | 2 | 2X | 3X |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Lunar Horizon (Jet Black / Light Gray) | Premium leather-alternative seating surfaces | H9Z | A | A | A |
Lunar Shadow (Jet Black / Taupe) | Premium leather-alternative seating surfaces | HAS | A | A | A |

Pricing for the currently available trim levels of the Hummer EV Pickup starts at $98,845 MSRP for the 2X, increasing to $106,945 or $116,940 for the 3X trim and reaching as high as $150,295 for the 3X Omega Edition. Pricing for the 2 trim is still to be determined. These prices include a revised and increased destination freight charge of $2,295, $300 higher than previously.
For motivation, the Hummer EV Pickup 2 and 2X trims are both equipped with a pair of GM Ultium Drive motors, one powering the front axle and the other the rear axle. A 20-module GM Ultium battery supplies energy to the motors with peak output rated at 570 horsepower. Meanwhile, the 3X trim is outfitted with three motors developing 830 horsepower, or 1,000 horsepower with the optional 24-module battery pack on board.
The 3X is equipped as standard with the Watts to Freedom or WTF mode. WTF mode is also available on the 2X trim level, but only if the buyer chooses to include the optional Extreme Off-Road Package (RPO code Z6X) on the vehicle for an additional $9,995.
The wide-body variant of the GM BT1 platform provides structure for the GMC Hummer EV Pickup. The model is produced at the GM Factory Zero plant in Detroit, Michigan.

Wow!
That’s sexy!
Very impressive!
They will sale less of these than Camaro’s. The billions that went into this project will never pay off.
Anyone wondering how they got away labelling the “Watts to Freedom” as the WTF Mode?
To most people in the world this stands for “What the F@ck” mode!
How did they get away with that?
