About GMC Sierra
The 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 introduced only a handful of changes and updates compared to the refreshed 2022 Sierra 1500.
The big news for 2023 was the debut of the first-ever 2023 GMC Sierra AT4X AEV Edition as the most off-road-capable factory Sierra 1500 ever.
For 2024, the GMC Sierra 2.7L engine will be called TurboMax. Additionally, the 2024 Sierra AT4X will offer the LZ0 Duramax diesel engine to provide more low-end torque while off-roading, joining the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine for available powerplants.
Also, the 2024 Sierra 1500 offers a new drop-in bedliner.
Pricing details for the 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 show that, compared to the previous model year, the entry-level Pro trim level is now $600 more expensive. Meanwhile, the SLE, Elevation, and SLT trims are $1,100 cheaper as the 3 Years of OnStar and Connected Services Plan (RPO code R9M) is no longer included as standard, replaced with 3 Year of OnStar Remote Access (RPO code PRF). The Denali is $900 more expensive while the Denali Ultimate is $400 more. The AT4 trim drops by $600.
Furthermore, for 2024 both the AT4X and the AT4X AEV Edition equipped with the L87 engine are $1,000 cheaper due to the aforementioned OnStar connected services plan changes. Additionally, the starting price for the AT4X and AT4X AEV Edition each drops by $2,500, as the 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax engine is now fitted as standard for the 2024 model year, whereas the more-expensive naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine was the exclusive powertrain offered, which is now optional.
In August, the 2024 Sierra 1500 received a destination freight charge increase of $100 to bump the total to $1,995.
The GMC Sierra 1500 now offers a ZR2 Spec Multimatic DSSV Shock System accessory for the 2019 model year or later Sierra 1500, with a design and tuning intended to provide the truck with improved off-road performance.
The online configurator tool is live for the 2024 Sierra 1500 and still live for the 2023 Sierra 1500.

Any idea where one can find these discount summaries for Canada? Dealer always wants you to come in to site down. I’m not sitting down until I know what the manufacturer is willing to knock off the price, then I’ll go negotiate with the dealer further
add a 1 in front and then you might get my attention GM. i do need a new truck
Why not just make the base price $8,000 cheaper?
easier to toss incentives on than constantly change the msrp. it’s the same as sales/promotions at any retail store. Plus if you note in the summary, it’s not $8000 across the board, only a certain model with certain configuration. They are really trying to pump the 2.7T
I don’t get it. GMC bumps all paint colors 500 bucks except white which peels off eventually. Chevy only special colors are premium.
LoL because there’s a devil in the details
Love that there is a discount available! Have not shopped the Sierra in a few years, need to check it out, hoping to see it at the Philadelphia Auto Show.
Kind of a slap in the face to those of us who ordered a 2024 almost nine months ago with a large down payment and no guarantee of build date. I can’t begin to count the number of GM vehicles I’ve purchased over fifty years. I can count the number I’ll be purchasing in the future. Worst experience I’ve ever had.
Reality is anyone ordering a vehicle at the time you did are waiting. Ford Maverick and Toyota Rav4 are sold out for like the next 4 years. Hyundai same thing. The only one with inventory is Jeep, and that’s not a good thing for them, they have like a 400 days supply of Renegade and Compass.
Still not where it needs to be at! In 2018 my fully loaded Sierra SLT with a 6.2L had $12,500 rebate. Out the door for $45k!!
We need to see discounts on the HD’S. & lower rates. I’m ready right now to pull the trigger but my religion won’t allow me to spend outrageous prices.
