With production of the muscle car scheduled to end this week in the United States, General Motors has just announced the 2024 Chevy Camaro SS Collector Edition in Brazil.
The automaker officially announced that it will soon introduce the 2024 Chevy Camaro SS Collector Edition in Brazil, arriving as an exclusive series prepared specifically for the model’s loyal customers in the Brazilian market. For the announcement, the Bow Tie brand’s team in the South American country only revealed an image with the Camaro emblem that the units reaching the local market will likely carry.
In particular, GM Brazil stated that only 125 units of the 2024 Chevy Camaro SS Collector Edition will be available in the country, each including a numbered plaque with the Camaro badge and the inscription “Collection” – exclusive for the Brazilian market. In addition to celebrating the exciting history of the model, this detail serves as recognition to Camaro fans in Brazil.
As with the regular variant of the vehicle, the 2024 Chevy Camaro Collector Edition will be offered in Brazil exclusively in SS trim in coupe or convertible bodies. While the company has not revealed details or images of the country-specific configuration, the 2024 Camaro SS Collector Edition is expected to maintain the same look offered in North America with distinctive design elements and gloss black bodywork.
Mechanically, the 2024 Chevy Camaro SS Collector Edition for Brazil will be equipped with the well-known naturally aspirated 6.2L LT1 V8 engine that develops 455 horsepower and 455 pound-feet of torque, mated to GM’s 10-speed automatic transmission. The model will include wheel-mounted paddle shifters, high-performance Brembo brakes and four driving modes: Tour, Sport, Snow and Track.
The 2024 Chevy Camaro SS Collector Edition will be revealed soon and will go on sale early next year in Brazil, as the latest special version designed to bid farewell to the current sixth-generation Camaro. After nine years on the North American market and other regions worldwide, the last units of the current Chevy Camaro will roll out of the GM Lansing Grand River Assembly plant on December 14th.

I’m done hearing about the Camaro Mary betrayed Her customers and killed it. I don’t want to hear about it anymore.
When will they make 125 of these? 2 days left of production. Typically only 10 or so Collector’s editions are built each day sometimes… I haven’t seen any window stickers online for MX or BR.
