The 2024 Chevy Silverado 1500 is the sixth model year of the full-size pickup’s fourth generation, and the third since the mid-cycle refresh was introduced for the 2022.5 model. Despite the Silverado getting “up there” in terms of age, the 2024 model introduces some notable updates and changes, including the deletion of two paint colors and the addition of two others, while the lineup of Silverado 1500 wheels remains largely the same.

Each trim level has a standard wheel set as well as a few available options. Most of the available Silverado 1500 wheels are extra-charge choices or are part of packages or special editions of the pickup.
Additionally, nine LPO or dealer-installed wheels are also available to order on certain trim levels, priced from $2,995 and higher. Most LPO 2024 Chevy Silverado 1500 wheels are priced at $3,295 or $3,695 per set. Vehicles purchased with LPO Silverado 1500 wheels are shipped from the factory with a set of transit wheels, which are then shipped back to the factory after the dealership installs the LPO rollers.
In addition to several exterior and interior changes, the 2024 Chevy Silverado 1500 adds the 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax engine to the Chevy Silverado ZR2 engine lineup. The new turbodiesel is rated at 305 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque, while the GM 10-speed automatic transmission sends power to the pavement. The ZR2 was previously available only with the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine providing 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque.
Other 2024 Chevy Silverado 1500 engines include the atmospheric 5.3L V8 L84 gasoline engine providing 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. The turbocharged 2.7L I4 L3B gasoline engine, supplying 310 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque, has been rebranded to TurboMax, as GM Authority previously reported.
The GM T1 platform provides the bones for the 2024 Silverado 1500 under the body panels. Production is currently under way at three locations, including the GM Fort Wayne plant in Indiana, the GM Oshawa plant in Canada, and the GM Silao plant in Mexico.

Almost anything except nasty ugly black.
Black Wheels can work for this Truck, but it boils down to the Trim Level and the exterior paint color, in my opinion, the ZR-2 is the primary trim model that can pull it off.
There are much better looking aftermarket wheels for the same price with bigger and better tires.
GM would be dead without this truck.
Hopefully the next generation of V8 engine debuts soon.
hopefully they fix the AFM/DFM issues in the 5.3 or whatever liter they come out with. if not, it will kill the silverado.
Just do away with it completely, it has really harmed the Silverado’s reputation. Just like the junk 8-speed transmissions they built. I have a 2012 Silverado that I bought new and would like to replace but I’m not sure that the new ones are as good. I have friends who won’t buy a new GM because of the low quality drive trains they have been building. They cost too much to worry about early drive train problems.
AFM will be on every V-8 produced by every manufacturer in 2025.
It’s not GM’s doing…. It’s the EPA that says it’s a MUST!
Gov’t is trying to kill the V-8.
I doubt that you’ll see a V-8 in the next generation of truck.
If there is, it will be even more bastardized.
Really need that many black wheel styles? From 10′ away there is no difference.
