About Cadillac Escalade
The 2023 Cadillac Escalade represents the third model year of the fifth-generation luxury SUV, debuting a variety of important changes and updates. The biggest is the introduction of the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V, a new high-performance variant that boasts the supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 gasoline engine, rated at 682 horsepower and 653 pound-feet of torque. Output is routed through the same updated GM 10-speed automatic transmission and fed to an all-wheel drive system, yielding a sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds. Upgraded brakes and Magnetic Ride Control suspension with special tuning help to keep it all under control.
The 2023 Escalade also added a new Surround Vision Recorder system, standard on all trim levels, plus expanded driving coverage for GM’s Super Cruise semi-autonomous driver assistance feature, and return of the Brembo Performance Brake Package.
The 2024 Cadillac Escalade arrives with standard Super Cruise on most trim levels, and the 2024 Escalade-V will get 20th Anniversary features to celebrate two decades of the Cadillac V-Series sub-brand. Additionally, the 2024 Escalade drops the Mahogany Metallic paint color, which is the one things that’s different for the 2024 model year, but does add Black Diamond Tricoat on the 2024 Escalade-V.
Pricing for the 2024 Cadillac Escalade shows all trim levels up by $1,200, and V-Series variants up by $1,700. Super Cruise became available again after the previous supply chain parts constraint, adding another $2,500 to the bottom line for the 2024 model year on all trims above the “base” Luxury.
The increases include a $100 bump in the destination freight charge to $1,995 and now-standard Super Cruise. Check out all the 2024 Escalade pricing with options and packages.
On another note, a new study finds that the Cadillac Escalade doesn’t hold its value very well.

The upcoming refreshed 2025 Cadillac Escalade, which has been delayed from the 2024 model year, will receive exterior styling revisions and feature a full-width, pillar-to-pillar infotainment display panel similar to that of the Cadillac Celestiq ultra-luxury sedan. In fact, the mid-cycle enhancement shows a copy-paste from the Cadillac Escalade IQ, highlighted below. The 2025 Escalade will also get 5G network connectivity.
Here’s everything we know and expect regarding the 2025 Cadillac Escalade and the 2025 Cadillac Escalade-V and the 2025 Escalade-V ESV.
On the EV front, in August GM debuted the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ, the first-ever all-electric full-size SUV from the luxury marque. Highlights of the Escalade IQ include streamlined styling, a tech-heavy feature list, 55-inch infotainment screen, and a top range of 450 miles with 750 horsepower on tap. Production is slated to kick off next year. Compare dimensions of the 2025 Escalade IQ vs. ICE Escalade.

historically escalades have never been discounted. at least i cant remember a time going back 15 years.
but thanks for the monthly update of the status quo…
Yeah I was gonna say popular models are never discounted. I remember back in 2016 when I bought my Rav4, I paid MSRP and the only discount I got was they agreed to give me the all weather matts free of charge and 0% APR (which Toyota does often anyways). But the car itself was full price. Then when I bought my XT5 in 2022, in the heat of the shortage, I had $1,000 off in GM cashback on a Premium Luxury they had on the lot that by chance happened to be the exact same color I wanted (Dark Moon Metallic with the tan interior). But if you wanted an Escalade the salesman told me they were hitting $100k for even a base model.
