General Motors has just officially revealed the all-new 2025 Chevy Tracker Stock Car as Chevrolet‘s next competition vehicle in Brazil’s most famous motorsports category.
The automaker’s Brazilian subsidiary revealed the first official images of the all-new 2025 Chevy Tracker Stock Car, confirming that the Tracker will be the Bow Tie brand’s next contender in Brazil’s largest racing competition. The selection of a utility vehicle represents a significant change in Stock Car history, which has had a 44-year tradition of competing exclusively with vehicles based on sedans.
“SUVs already represent more than 40 percent of passenger vehicle sales and have evolved a lot in design, technology and vehicle dynamics,” said Executive Director of Marketing at GM South America, Chris Rego. “The Chevrolet Tracker is a reference in this sense, motivating the decision to also take it to the tracks. The aim is to bring even more excitement and appeal to the Stock Car,” she added.
In particular, the all-new 2025 Chevy Tracker Stock Car is the first racing vehicle based on the body of a crossover that GM Brazil developed to compete in one of the most recognized and competitive championships in South America. All of Chevrolet’s previous Stock Car race cars have been sedans, including the Chevy Opala, Omega, Vectra, Astra, Sonic and current Cruze – which will continue through the 2024 season.
Aesthetically, the 2025 Chevy Tracker Stock Car retains several design cues from the subcompact crossover, but with a lowered stance and muscular proportions tailored to championship racing standards. In fact, the body changes make it more similar to a wagon since it has a low roof and a noticeably longer front end, complemented by a massive rear spoiler that accentuates its wider stance.
The all-new 2025 Chevy Tracker Stock Car will officially debut in the 2025 season of the Brazilian automobile championship, while the physical vehicle and all the details of the project will be shared later by GM and the official organization of the Stock Car category. Chevrolet is the most successful brand of the Brazil’s Stock Car with a total of 36 championships thanks to the dedication of the most talented drivers, mechanics and teams present in the country.

A Chevy Tracker “stock car” is like your grandmother pretending she doesn’t know who you are on Halloween.
Lol, fantastic response.
One of Erma Bombeck’s great lines on stuff like this…
Well your point is loud and clear and duly noted. However, the Tracker is not sold in the U.S., it is for a Brazil race series that Chevy currently runs with Cruze sedans. Per the article. Not that big of a step for them from Cruze to Tracker.
Until the EPA and Carb laws are changed or with drawn as to ICE production GM has little choice but to continue to find ways to sell EV products.
These are being mandated by politics by activist in our goverment hat care little about what you or I want.
Just look a Washington State trying to put people in jail if they use gas lawn mowers or blowers. This law is up for a vote there now.
@ CR.8
We live in scary and dangerous times. The Washington state bill by Democrats, wanting to incarcerate people for using gasoline powered lawn mowers and leaf blowers is quite telling.
Marxism/Communism, an ideology that has murdered over 100 million people across the globe, has penetrated the US with full force since 2008. Anything these people disagree with is banned and anybody that does not fall in line is typically terminated from their job, blacklisted by other employers and made a spectacle of by the main stream media as a warning to others. Lenin, Mao, Pol Pot, Marx, Castro and others made these abhorrent tactics both famous and potentially deadly.

That has to be the weirdest post I’ve seen in a long time. Wow.
What kind of drugs are you on? You’re rambling and your grammar is terrible! We are all laughing at you. I hope you realize that?
Waiting for the Nascar Suburban with a supercharged 6.2 engine!!! Designed and built by Roadkill Garage!🙂
Uh oh… Is this the future of NASCAR?…
They need to bring the tracker to the US! The Cruze hatchback is a fantastic car!
I actually like it. Looks good. I do like some of the touring car series that are present in other countries. This car looks interesting.
