2025 Chevy Tahoe And Suburban Confirmed For Mexico

In addition to the models’ official debut in the United States and their simultaneous announcement in Canada, General Motors has also confirmed the refreshed 2025 Chevy Tahoe and 2025 Chevy Suburban for Mexico.

The automaker confirmed that the newly introduced 2025 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban will arrive in Mexico, thus completing the official update announcement of Chevrolet’s popular full-size SUVs in the three North American countries. The refreshed 2025 Tahoe and Suburban received a major mid-cycle refresh that will further strengthen their customer appeal and strong sales leadership across the region.

“The updates on the 2025 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban make the industry’s best-selling full-size SUVs an ever-stronger option for our customers,” said Global Vice President of Chevrolet, Scott Bell. “Our segment-leading position is the envy of our competitors – no one comes close to Chevrolet,” he added.

The refreshed 2025 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban received notable front-end design changes, new LED light signatures both front and rear, a redesigned interior with an all-new dashboard, next-generation technology solutions, and a notable powertrain upgrade. The cabin of both models is more refined and adopts a 17.7-inch central screen combined with an 11-inch digital cluster and the highest level of connectivity.

The powertrain novelty of the 2025 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban in the United States and Canada is the new second-generation 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax engine, with 305 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque. However, both models will continue to be exclusively offered in Mexico with the 5.3L V8 L84 and 6.2L V8 L87 naturally aspirated gasoline engines, mated to GM’s 10-speed automatic transmission.

In contrast to the sales start scheduled for the end of next year in the U.S. and Canada, GM did not reveal a timeline for the arrival of the 2025 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban in Mexico. As usual, the Bow tie brand’s iconic SUVs are expected to reach the Mexican market after the two other countries in the region, possibly in the last month of 2024.
