General Motors unveiled the all-new 2024 GMC Acadia this past September, pulling the sheets on the crossover’s latest third generation. In addition to updated technology features, expanded interior room, and larger exterior dimensions, the 2024 GMC Acadia presents all-new styling as well. Now, we’re taking a closer look with the following GM Authority Live Photo Gallery.
Captured on the floor of the 2023 Detroit Auto Show in conjunction with the third-gen crossover’s debut, this particular 2024 GMC Acadia is covered in Summit White paint (paint code GAZ), giving us a clean look at the new styling. This particular model is also an example of the AT4 trim level, once again offered as the off-road-oriented trim level of the bunch.
Up front, the 2024 GMC Acadia debuts a new fascia design with a new headlight design that incorporates large C-shaped lighting signatures that look somewhat similar to those seen on the GMC Yukon and GMC Canyon, with additional lighting bits lower in the corners of the fascia. The grille was restyled as well, but once again shows a pair of lower “tabs,” while the grille insert design includes wave-like lines and ripples. An AT4 badge is seen lower in the driver’s-side corner of the grille, while signature red tow hooks and integrated skid plates complete the off-roader look. AT4 trims also include a wider track.
Moving into the sides, further AT4-style upgrades are present with a one-inch taller ride height. The 2024 GMC Acadia AT4 also rolls on 18-inch AT tires, while the wheels show a technical, split-Y-spoke layout and brushed finish. An AT4 badge is mounted lower in the door. The third-gen Acadia window line was also heavily revised compared to the preceding model year, stretching front to back in a large, unbroken section of glass and pillars, as opposed to the rectangular wraparound rear glass section of the previous model.
The rear end finishes it off with horizontal taillights that wrap around from the rear fenders into the hatch, as compared to the C-shaped taillights seen previously. Quad exhaust tips adorn the rear bumper, while a black panel is seen high on the hatch, just below the rear glass.
