Three accent packages for the 2024 Cadillac XT6 crossover, which were introduced earlier this year, are currently unavailable to order on the vehicle, GM Authority has learned.
The accent packages, which are LPO-level or dealer-installed options, will remain unavailable to order for the 2024 Cadillac XT6 for an unknown amount of time.
The three optional Cadillac XT6 packages include the Blue Accent Package, tagged with RPO code PDL, the Bronze Accent Package (RPO code PDJ) and the Red Accent Package (RPO code PDK). These packages are normally available for an additional $2,995 and can be combined with any exterior paint color.
The three packages are offered only on the Sport trim of the XT6 and cannot be combined with the Onyx Package (RPO code PDB) or the Onyx Lite Package (RPO code PCP), both also offered as options.
The package contents include the following, with body decal and wheel center cap colors varying with the overall package color (with relevant RPO codes listed in parentheses):
- Blue, Bronze or Red body decal, LPO (SB9)
- Monochrome Cadillac emblems, LPO (SFZ)
- 20-inch Gloss Black wheels, LPO (S2K)
- Blue, Bronze or Red wheel center cap, LPO (5ZF or 5ZD)
- Black wheel lug nuts, LPO (SPY)
- Black wheel locks, LPO (SPZ)
- Tire Pressure Monitor, LPO (SD5)
As a reminder, the 2024 Cadillac XT6 is the first generation crossover’s fifth model year and is does not introduce any major updates or changes to the vehicle’s exterior or interior. However, alongside the introduction of the three accent packages, the XT6 drops three exterior paint colors from its palette for 2024.
The discontinued colors include Latte Metallic (color code G5D), Rosewood Metallic (GCK), and Wilder Metallic (GED). All three were available on all 2023 Cadillac XT6 trim levels for a price of $625. They are indirectly replaced by two new colors, Emerald Lake Metallic (G6I) and Midnight Sky Metallic (GXF).
The 2024 Cadillac XT6 crossover rides on the GM C1 platform. Production started in June, and takes place at the GM Spring Hill plant in Tennessee,
