2024 Cadillac XT4 Premium Luxury At Detroit Auto Show: Live Photo Gallery

Receiving a mid-cycle refresh for the new model year, the 2024 Cadillac XT4 introduces extensive updates to the exterior styling and interior appointments. Earlier this year, GM Authority spy photographers captured photographs of the refreshed XT4 testing out in the wild, and now, we’ve captured up-close-and-personal photos of the luxury crossover at the 2023 Detroit Auto show.

Configured in the Premium Luxury trim level, this unit is finished in the Stellar Black Metallic (color code GB8) paint color.

One of the most notable updates for the new model year is the revised front fascia, which is shown off in full effect at this venue. The 2024 XT4 features a redesigned grille design and a new set of LED headlights with signature lighting cues. Up top are longitudinal roof rails with brushed aluminum finish (RPO code V6K), which are equipped as standard on Premium Luxury models.

Moving out back, the rear fascia has also been tweaked, and boasts dual through-fascia exhaust outlets with bright tips.

Another huge change for the new model year is the cabin, which has been thoroughly overhauled with a 33-inch, 9K-resolution LED color touchscreen. Additional features include an available 14-speaker audio system from AKG, 5G Wi-Fi hotspot capability, and wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto capability.

In regard to powertrain specifications, the 2024 XT4 is equipped with the same turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine as the outgoing 2023 model, which is rated at 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. Output is routed through the GM nine-speed automatic transmission, while FWD and AWD are both available.

It’s worth noting that the Chinese-market Cadillac XT4 is also equipped with the LSY engine, but includes a mild hybrid system with 48V technology that adds electric assist, electric idle and regenerative braking.

Under the body panels, the 2024 Cadillac XT4 continues to ride on the GM E2 platform, while production kicked off in April 2023 at the GM Fairfax Assembly plant in Kansas City.

  3. How much longer will Cadillac have an ICE XT4 available for sale in North America? When are they pulling the plug on this vehicle like they did for the XT5 in 2025?

  5. Does anyone know when a all new XT5 is scheduled? The current is getting pretty old in the tooth. Mary seems to be ignoring the gas cars with full effort on the non-selling electrics.

    1. You will need to move to China for the next XT5. Cadillac is not offering the next version of the XT5 to North America, but will design and manufacture the redesigned XT5 in China for sale in China.

  9. I had a 2021 XT4 SPORT, super loaded!!! LOVED it, except for the power not being there. Seemed a little spunky on take off— but then it lost it. RIDE WAS NICE, DOORS SOLID!!! but sold it for something with more power!!
It needs the 2.7L 310HP engine!!!!
I don’t see ANY difference in the exterior… Though I do love the rear-end, THOSE TAILLIGHTS make the rear on that car and they were on the 21 also. That’s what sold me over an XT5!!!!
As for the interior… PLEASE, don’t make changes just for that sake of making changes(job security??)••••• I like the old dash better. The tablet/I-pad should be built into the dash not thrown in the top of it to land somewhere????… CHANGE FOR THE SAKE OF CHANGE!!!!
With the same engine in it, I was going to check out the XT5 with the 3.6L… But I’m hearing it being cancelled for an EV.
I don’t ever plan on purchasing an EV in my lifetime. Sad that China is getting the upgrades when I believe their Government are pushing and the people there are more receptive to ELECTRIC CARS! DOESN’Tmake sense, PANDERING TO THE CHINESE???
OH WELL, I GUESS OFF TO LINCOLN OR TOYOTA TO SEE WHAT THEY ARE GOING TO BE OFFERING..

sorry about the caps, by the time i saw them…. i wasn’t going to retype everything.
IN SOME PLACES THEY WERE THERE FOR A REASON!!!!
By the way, good you are deleting painted calipers. Yours are not red•••• THEY ARE MAROON!!! no one does maroon calipers, NO-ONE!!!
