2024 Cadillac CT4: Here’s Everything That’s New And Different

The 2024 Cadillac CT4 represents the fifth model year of the small luxury sedan, which made its debut for the 2020 model year. The fifth model year introduces a handful of small changes, and GM Authority is here to tell you exactly what’s new and different.

Model Line

The 2024 CT4 model line does not see any changes, meaning that it continues to be offered as a subcompact luxury sedan in either rear-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive across the following trim levels:

  • Luxury (6DB69)
  • Premium Luxury (6DC69)
  • Sport (6DD69)

The 2024 Cadillac CT4 family also includes two high performance variants – the 2024 CT4-V and 2024 CT4-V Blackwing. This article is about the Luxury, Premium Luxury and Sport models.

Exterior

The only 2024 CT4 exterior changes are to the color palette, with the Blaze Orange Metallic color (GCF) deleted while and the Midnight Sky Metallic (GXF) color added.

Interior

Inside, the 2024 Cadillac CT4 replaces the air ionizer feature with a pollutant, odor and fine dust air filter (K6L). In both cases, the feature was available solely with the Technology Package, optional on Premium Luxury and Sport trims.

No changes are made to the Driver Assist Tech, Powertrain, and Packages departments, so that’s all there is regarding actual changes to the 2024 Cadillac CT4. That’s typically indicative of an upcoming overhaul or mid-cycle refresh for a model. More on that in a minute.

As a reminder, the 2024 Cadillac CT4 carries over its two turbocharged gasoline engine options and their two transmission options from the prior four model years.

Model Engine Fuel Aspiration Transmission Drivetrain Horsepower @ RPM Torque @ RPM Axle Ratio
350T1 2.0L LSY I-4 Gasoline Turbocharged 8-Speed Automatic (MHA) RWD or AWD 237 @ 5000 258 @ 4000 2.85
500T2 2.7L L3B I-4 Gasoline Turbocharged 10-Speed Automatic (MQA) RWD or AWD 310 @ 5500 350 @ 4000 2.85

The updates and changes described here are specific to the U.S. market and may be different for other markets.

Looking Ahead

The three changes for the 2024 model year follow the 2020 CT4, which was the model’s introductory year, followed by a few small changes and updates to the 2021 CT4, 2022 CT4 and the 2023 CT4. Looking ahead, we originally believed that the 2025 CT4 would introduce a long-anticipated mid-cycle refresh. There’s a chance, however, that this will not take place, as slow sales have us wondering how much longer the CT4 can hang on.

Refreshed 2025 Cadillac CT5 interior

If a refresh does come about, then we envision something similar to the updates announced for the 2025 Cadillac CT5 refresh, focused on revisions to the cockpit.

  1. If you’re out of you’re 20’s, good luck trying to fit inside it. I’m not that big, and was seriously shopping one. But it’s too small and cramped for my tastes. Step up to the CT5 is what I did and highly recommend.

    1. It’s not bad… definitely not any worse than anything in its segment.

  2. Did they put the 2nd gen 8AT in this like in the 24 Silverado and Colorado?

Really wish they’d give this motor a bit more power. 250-260 and I’d consider it.

    1. Nope, this is still the first-gen 8-speed.
