With 682 horsepower and 653 pound-feet of torque on tap, the Cadillac Escalade-V delivers a tantalizing combination of raw performance, luxury amenities, and physical presence. Not to be outdone, Specialty Vehicles Engineering (SVE) has released the 2024 SXR Series Supercharged Cadillac Escalade and Cadillac Escalade ESV with up to 800 horsepower.
Offered for both 2WD and 4WD, and only available through Cadillac dealerships, these new supercharged Escalade and Escalade ESV variants are capable of beating the Escalade-V’s straight-line performance. In fact, SVE claims that the SXR Escalade could easily qualify as the quickest 2024 limited-production full-size SUV in the world.
To back up this claim, SVE takes the stock 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine found as standard fare in the luxury SUV and bolts on a supercharger kit, raising output up to 650 and even 800 horsepower. To this end, the assembly represents the latest in state-of-the-art performance engine technology from SVE.
Notably, the supercharger assembly features a new boost-by-wire system that allows the user to have full variable boost control, along with 91 and 93 octane tuning calibrations for the 650-hp supercharger package to help accommodate customers.
As far as aesthetic upgrades go, new badges are included as standard, while the interior features SXR Series badges throughout the cabin.
SVE will only produce 50 units in each configuration, or 200 units in total, of the 2024 SXR Series Supercharged Cadillac Escalade and Cadillac Escalade ESV.
