As Corvette Racing eyes its next chapter as a customer racing program beginning in 2024, longtime partner Pratt Miller Motorsports released a first look at its Corvette Z06 GT3.R liveries for the forthcoming season.
“We couldn’t be more excited to introduce the new Corvette Z06 GT3.R,” says Ben Bode, Team Manager for Corvette Racing at Pratt Miller. “Although from a distance, it may look very similar to the outgoing C8.R, it’s actually an entirely, ground-up new race car.”
The new Corvette racer features a brand new splitter and front underwing, which help provide more downforce up front. The new center cooling exit improves radiator flow, and the race car features all-new bodywork around the front end right down to the front fenders. The vents behind the front wheels, meanwhile, no longer act as radiator exits, but instead exist to further increase downforce by extracting air from the front wheel well.
The fender itself, meanwhile, features a slope that helps funnel air into the engine intakes, which are affixed to the race car’s sides just in front of the rear wheels. Out back, there is new venting on the rear decklid and all-new bodywork, rear wing, and diffuser.
As for the paint scheme itself, the Corvette Z06 GT3.R features the familiar, flashy yellow hue that has been a staple of Corvette Racing for quite a while now. It also sports red accents throughout that complement its race ready exterior color, along with a contrasting black hood and roof.
In a comment on social media, Pratt Miller acknowledged that studio shots of its race cars are forthcoming, but for now, the organization is channeling its focus on preparing the ‘Vettes for the 2024 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season, as evidenced by video of the No. 4 Z06 GT3.R on track.
The Corvette Z06 GT3.R race car will make its competition debut during the 24 Hours of Daytona on January 25th through 28th, 2024.

The yellow shows better on TV but I wish they’d use the classic American international racing colors of white and blue.
I wish that Corvettes could be purchased with the racing yellow paint. The current yellow paint offered has a greenish tint. I had a 2007 Corvette in racing yellow that looked great.
