First breaking cover for the 2022 model year, the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is offered as the most track-capable production vehicle to ever wear the Cadillac crest, cradling the high-powered (and highly tunable) supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 gasoline engine. As is tradition for the aftermarket, more is always better, which means some Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing owners will inevitably upgrade their sports sedan for more power. Now, to handle the extra go, Mantic Clutch is offering a new triple-disc clutch kit for the CT5-V Blackwing.
In stock guise, the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing’s supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 engine produces a maximum of 668 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque, but with a few choice modifications, output can quickly top four-figures. As such, the new triple-disc clutch kit from Mantic Clutch is rated to handle as much as 1,515 pound-feet of torque at the crank, or roughly 1,250 to 1,285 pound-feet of torque at the wheels. In addition, the clutch is fully rebuildable, making it solid option for enthusiasts looking the make more power in their Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing.
The kit includes all-billet components, as well as a ceremetallic friction material and a lightened flywheel. Further highlights include new flywheel bolts and an alignment tool, plus an aluminum HD carrying case.
The kit was designed to fit Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing models between the 2022 and 2024 model years, and offers a relatively light pedal feel and no flex at high rpm, with applications appropriate for either the street, or track use. As a reminder, the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is offered with the six-speed Tremec TR-6070 manual transmission.
“Our commitment to quality and customer service sets us apart, offering a complete solution with everything you need in the box, including the clutch, flywheel, new release bearing, and all necessary hardware,” Mantic Clutch states.
Pricing for the new triple-disc kit is set at $3,285, per the Mantic Clutch website. Mantic also offers a twin-disc clutch kit for those that want more capacity, but don’t need the full triple-disc solution.

With Camaro ’bout to die, Guess Cadillac is last gm with a manual transmission? Hard to believe. Hard to understand.
That’s one hell of a clutch
I had a triple disc mantic in my 500kw xr6t. It failed, they replaced it and it failed again. They had to refund me so I could replace it with an NPC as their rated clutch couldn’t handle near the reading limit of torque, which the NPC has done for 5 years now.
I’d expect to see failures here as people start to use them a little harder.
How does this compare to Monster’s triple disk?
