As a reminder, the 2024 GMC Terrain is largely a carryover from the 2023 model. This means the 2024 Terrain is powered by the new-for-2023 turbocharged 1.5L I4 LSD gasoline engine, rated at 175 horsepower and 203 pound-feet of torque. Notably, this powerplant replaced the turbocharged 1.5L I4 LYX gasoline engine, rated at 170 horsepower and 203 pound-feet of torque.
Output is routed to the ground via the GM nine-speed automatic transmission.
In the regard to structure, the Terrain rides on the GM D2 platform, while production takes place at the GM San Luis Potosà plant in Mexico. The 2024 model year boasts a starting MSRP of $30,095 in SLE and FWD form. Notably, this figure includes the $1,395 destination freight charge.
