About Chevrolet Suburban
The 2023 Chevy Suburban introduced only a handful of updates, dropping in as the third model year for the latest fifth-generation extended-length full-size SUV. The 2023 Suburban adds Enhanced Automatic Parking Assist and a new Advanced Technology Package that includes the GM Super Cruise hands-free, semi-autonomous driver assistance feature, which also receives expanded driving coverage.
The 2024 Chevy Suburban arrives with one small change compared to the preceding 2023 model year, and that is the deletion of the Auburn Metallic paint color.
GM Authority recently uncovered pricing for the 2024 Chevy Suburban to reveal a $2,100 bump on all trims, which includes a $100 increase for the destination freight charge to $1,995.
While the 2024 Chevy Tahoe and 2024 Chevy Suburban were originally expected to introduce a mid-cycle enhancement for both SUVs, GM Authority has learned that the refresh will take place for the 2025 model year, or possibly even later. Here’s what we know and expect regarding the 2025 Suburban.
The online configurator tool is live for the 2023 Suburban.
Production of the 2024 Chevy Suburban is set to kick off this month.

I have never leased a vehicle before, and I’m curious as to how hard it is to get into a lease? I’ve owned the last 4 generations of Suburbans, would like to have a new one, I’m of the understanding that the payments on a lease are a lot less. Is this true?
Lease payments are 25% to 35% less than purchasing the vehicle; however you never will own the vehicle. I have been leasing Sierra Denali’s since 2009. The depreciation on a pickup is far less; so the lease payments are significantly less. Similar lease on a High Country Suburban would be more. EG My Sierra Denali is $942 a month with an MSRP of 81k. The Suburban with an MSRP of 79k would be $1493 for 36 months.
Reading this article, and seeing gm increase ‘24 suburban pricing $2.1K, repeat, $2.1K, for the various trim levels, speaks volumes re: gm wanting to ‘help’ customers, afford this unit. # gm greed.
