About Cadillac Lyriq

Introduced for the 2023 model year, the Cadillac Lyriq stands as the luxury marque’s first entry into the budding EV market.

The 2024 Cadillac Lyriq arrives with several important changes and updates. Among these is the introduction of the new Tech and Sport trim levels, with the Luxury trim level slotting between those. Furthermore, the 2024 Lyriq Luxury 3 and Sport 3 are now available with 20-inch wheels. All three trim levels (Tech, Luxury, Sport) are available in the U.S. with either rear-wheel or all-wheel drive.

The 2024 Cadillac Lyriq is the first GM vehicle in North America to feature 5G network connectivity, standard on all trim levels. The 2024 Lyriq also gets a new power panoramic dual-panel sunroof along with a newly available Nappa Leather seating package, which is genuine leather made from calfskin or other types of soft cowhide, and a new trailer hitch.

Regardless of the trim level selected, 2024 Cadillac Lyriq maximum range-per-charge is 314 miles for rear-wheel-drive models, with motor output set at 340 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque, and 307 miles for all-wheel-drive models, with motor output set at 500 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque. Additionally, the 2024 Lyriq AWD offers a new Velocity powertrain upgrade, boosting torque by 74 pound-feet, raising the peak rating from 450 pound-feet to 524 pound-feet. GM asserts that the zero to 60 mph time improves from the standard AWD variant’s 4.7 seconds to 4.4.

The all-electric luxury compact crossover rides on the GM BEV3 platform, while GM Ultium batteries pair with GM Ultium Drive motors for motivation.

As of this month 2024 Cadillac Lyriq shoppers can now perform inventory search on the brand’s website.

  1. Would it hurt to say in the title “in the Miami area”. These rates don’t apply anywhere else. Also, 2024 Luxury/Sport 2/3 vehicle aren’t available anywhere yet. So these rates are only applicable to Tech, Luxury/Sport 1.

    1. I’m not quite sure why the 2/3 is not available. My dealer has about a dozen on the lot at any given time and I’ve never seen anything besides tech/1. I asked my sales guy and he said the 3 was very very very limited availability which could mean as you say, not available. I’m baffled as to why. Leather is the main thing in a 3, and it is not like caddy does not know how to make leather seats.

      1. Supercruise is the reason people waiting (like myself) have been given. Something is different about the ’24’s that Supercruise was an issue. Supposedly the issue has been resolved and the Sport/Lux level 2/3 that have been built since July are starting to be shipped.

I didn’t get the leather option on my Luxury 3.

        1. Funny, for me zero interest in supercruise. If I get a Lyriq, which unlikely as it does not offer more than a paltry 150W inverter and I want around 1KW to support my furnace blower, I’d let the SC subscription lapse after.

          1. Lyriq 110 volt receptacle provided in 2023 Lyrics and 2024 sport or Luxury 3’s provides 140 watts. The good news is the switched cigarette acc jack is fused at 20 amps and there is a separately 20 amp fused acc jack by the rear hatch always on. Take more wattage from those.

            1. 20×12=240. Still way short of 1KW.

            2. In a pinch such as when doing a mini camping event, I hook up my harbor junk tools 2,000 watt inverter to the battery . Current drawn is between 130 and 160 amperes so you have to know what you are doing connection wise. Another issue is the Lyriq needs to be ‘convinced’ to start charging battery. So you have a few things to check prior to being home free.

The good news is it will charge at over 200 amperes once it is running so battery will gain voltage even with heavy loading.

  4. No heated steering wheel on all the models no deal on RWD. GM seems to think its only usefull on AWD models.
