2025 Chevy S10 Interior Spotted For The First Time In Brazil

Two months after GM Authority reported that the 2025 Chevy S10 had been caught wearing less camouflage in Brazil, the interior design of Chevrolet‘s revamped midsize pickup has just been spotted for the first time in the South American country.

Brazilian media have once again captured a partially camouflaged prototype of the new 2025 Chevy S10 in the final stage of its development as its official presentation approches. Although the prototype’s body was still wrapped with a film that only reveals its external proportions, its interior design was exposed and spy photographers were able to capture it for the first time.

In particular, the first spy photos of the 2025 Chevy S10’s interior in Brazil were shared by Instagram user @razukbackstage and confirm that the midsize pickup’s cabin will receive a thorough revision, with many changes inspired by the American all-new Chevy Colorado. As such, the 2025 S10 has a noticeably more modern cabin than the current model.

The 2025 Chevy S10’s dashboard presents an all-new design and adopts elements from several GM pickups. In general, the interior of the 2025 S10 is quite similar to that of the new Colorado and shares solutions such as the piano-type control module and the central air vents, as well as the center console and gear lever. However, the steering wheel is the same as in the Chevy Silverado and the outboard air vents are the same as in the all-new GMC Canyon.

For its part, one of the most notable novelties inside the new 2025 Chevy S10 is the infotainment touchscreen and the digital driver instrument cluster. In this case, both have their own design, but faithfully follow the style of the brand’s most recent trucks in the United States, which includes a generous central screen as well as physical cliamte control buttons and rotary dials.

The new 2025 Chevy S10 is expected to debut soon in Brazil and will go on sale in the Brazilian market in early 2024, as one of the brand’s most important launches next year in the country. In addition to the new interior, the 2025 S10 will debut redesigned front and rear fascias while basically keeping the same doors as the current model. It will also maintain the 2.8L I4 XLD28 turbodiesel engine, but with some improvements, paired to the new GM 8-speed automatic transmission.

    1. No need! The S10 is nothing more than the global pickup equivalent to the previous generation Colorado.

      1. Exactly, though to mention that they are keeping most the old body work to cut costs as production in Brazil is expensive.

        1. Why would production in Brazil be expensive? Or is that just in relation to their consumer purchasing power?

          1. Production and commercialization costs in Brazil are expensive because the tax system is extremely complex. However, despite this, manufacturers that produce in Brazil have equal or even higher profit margins compared to their operations in other parts of the world.

  3. Due to this completely mistaken decision by Chevrolet, the S10 is very likely to have its sales affected and will lose its 2nd position in the category to the competition. The Hilux will probably continue to lead the category. The Ranger, even though it is a completely new model, has much more competitive prices than the Chevrolet model and is already the 3rd best seller in the category.
Mitsubishi representatives have already announced that they will launch the new Triton/L200 in Brazil, including local production. There is a high probability that the Ranger and the Japanese model will share 2nd and 3rd position in the category, relegating the S10 to 4th position.

  4. I’m curious to know how Chevrolet would justify not being able to produce the new Colorado renamed S10 in South America in the same way that Ford managed to produce the Ranger.
Ford made a smaller investment in Argentina and was able to produce an entirely new Ranger! Meanwhile, Chevrolet made a bigger investment in Brazil and will only do a facelift on the S10.
And considering the comments made in Brazilian automotive media about the “new” S10, the vast majority are criticisms related to various aspects!

    1. Go to chevy.br and look at the price, and convert to dollars. Brazil is an expensive place to make cars. They’re keeping the body work the same to cut costs. They will be able to undercut the new ford/mitsu offerings.

      1. Although Brazil is an expensive country to manufacture cars due to tax issues, the costs of this are transferred to the consumer and the company does not reduce its profit margin, so much so that it is one of the largest in the world in the automotive sector.
Still, this doesn’t justify the fact that GM is only doing a facelift on the S10 while Ford managed to manufacture an entirely new Ranger. Production costs in Argentina are the same or even higher than in Brazil.
GM will only be able to undermine Ford and Mistubishi’s offerings if it offers consumers lower prices because its model becomes inferior, which is unlikely to happen.
