For prospective buyers looking for a driving experience unlike any other, both the GMC Hummer EV Pickup and GMC Hummer EV SUV offer obscene levels of performance on and off the pavement. Now, the two high-performance electric vehicles are currently unavailable to be order with the Bronze Beadlock Package.
GM Authority has learned that the LPO or dealer-installed Bronze Beadlock Package (RPO code PCK) is currently unavailable to be order on both the 2024 Hummer EV Pickup and 2024 Hummer EV SUV. Normally offered only on the 2X and 3X trim levels, the Bronze Beadlock Package requires choosing the Extreme Off-Road Package (RPO code Z6X) beforehand.
In regard to the Bronze Beadlock Package, it’s normally priced at $4,775 for both the Pickup and the SUV, and includes (relevant RPO code in parenthesis):
- Front and rear D-ring recovery hooks in tech bronze (W0H)
- Emblems in Tech Bronze (RIK)
- 18-inch Grazen Face Beadlock Capable Wheels with Tech Bronze Decorative Ring (RZK)
It’s worth noting that the beadlock-capable wheels are essentially a second set of rollers. As such, customers need to order two sets of wheels with the package. In addition, the Bronze Beadlock Package cannot be combined with the Sport Package (RPO code PCP), the 18-inch Tech Bronze with machined face wheels (RPO code SMA), or the Omega Edition package (RPO code WFP).
As a reminder, both the GMC Hummer EV Pickup and GMC Hummer EV SUV derive motivation from GM Ultium batteries and GM Ultium Drive motors, with several different motor setups available depending on the trim level selected.
Under the body panels lies the wide-body variant of the GM BT1 platform – the narrow-body version underpins the Chevy Silverado EV and GMC Sierra EV – while production takes place exclusively at the GM Factory Zero plant in Michigan.
