The 2024 Chevy Tahoe drops in as the fourth model year for the fifth-gen full-size SUV, debuting only a few small updates compared to the 2023 Chevy Tahoe. Now, the 2024 Chevy Tahoe is available for virtual configuration at Chevrolet‘s website via the official online configurator tool.
The trim level lineup once again consists of six different options, including LS, LT, Z71, RST, Premier, and High Country.
Critically, pricing for the 2024 Chevy Tahoe has increased compared to pricing for the preceding 2023 model year. As GM Authority covered previously, the starting MSRP was increased by $2,000 for all trim levels, while the destination freight charge (DFC) was increased by $100, up from $1,895 to $1,995. As a result, all 2024 Chevy Tahoe trim levels are now $2,100 more expensive than equivalent 2023 model-year vehicles.
The least-expensive 2024 Chevy Tahoe configuration is the LS trim with 2WD and atmospheric 5.3L V8 L84 gasoline engine, which starts at $58,195 (including DFC). Meanwhile, the most-expensive configuration is the High Country with 4WD and atmospheric 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine, which starts at $81,395 (including DFC).
The 2024 Chevy Tahoe also offers a slightly revised exterior paint option list, with Auburn Metallic (paint code G48) no longer part of the color palette, per previous GM Authority coverage. As such, the revised paint list is limited to the following nine options:
- Iridescent Pearl Tricoat
- Dark Ash Metallic
- Silver Sage Metallic
- Summit White
- Black
- Empire Beige Metallic
- Midnight Blue Metallic
- Radiant Red Tintcoat
- Sterling Gray Metallic
Orders for the 2024 Chevy Tahoe began on September 28th, 2023, while production is under way now. The 2024 Chevy Tahoe was originally expected to begin rolling off the line on November 6th, but that date was later pushed back, likely due to the UAW strike.
Under the hood, customers have three engine options, including the atmospheric 5.3L V8 L83 gasoline engine, which produces 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque, the atmospheric 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine, which produces 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, and the 3.0L I6 LM2 turbodiesel Duramax engine, which produces 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. The GM T1 platform provides the underpinnings, while production take place at the GM Arlington plant in Texas.
The 2024 Chevy Tahoe was originally expected to debut a model refresh, but the refresh is now scheduled for a later model year.

Alex or Jonathan, is there any stories or crumbs on a Chuck Lombardo Cadillac Eldorado that was at Sema show?
I just get errors trying to launch the site.
