The 2024 Cadillac Escalade represents the fourth model year of the fifth-gen full-size luxury SUV range, for which it receives only one relatively minor change.
The sole change in question is to the exterior color palette, where the 2024 Escalade and 2024 Escalade ESV lose the Mahogany Metallic exterior color (color code G48).
The discontinuation of Mahogany Metallic leaves the following eight exterior colors in the Escalade’s color lineup:
- Crystal White Tricoat
- Galactic Gray Metallic
- Dark Emerald Metallic
- Black Raven
- Sandstone Metallic
- Dark Moon Blue Metallic
- Radiant Red Tintcoat
- Argent Silver Metallic
A ninth hue, Black Diamond Tricoat, is also available, but only on the Escalade-V and Escalade-V ESV, and in very limited quantities.
As a reminder, the 2024 Cadillac Escalade range continues to be offered as a full-size five-door SUV (Escalade) and extended-length full-size five-door SUV (Escalade ESV) across the following trim levels:
- Luxury (base)
- Premium Luxury
- Premium Luxury Platinum
- Sport
- Sport Luxury Platinum
- Escalade-V
On the powertrain side, the 2024 Escalade family carries over its two gasoline V8 engines and one straight six turbo-diesel Duramax engine from the 2023 model year.

Looking ahead, big updates are on the way for the refreshed 2025 Escalade and 2025 Escalade ESV. We expect the refreshed model to bring a slew of noteworthy updates such as a revised front fascia, a revamped cockpit with a coast-to-coast (pillar-to-pillar) infotainment screen, a new set of wheels with a 24-inch option, and a new diesel engine. It’s worth noting that these updates were initially expected for 2024, but were pushed back to 2025.
The updates and changes described here are specific to the U.S. market and may be different for other markets.
