First breaking cover in October of the 2021 calendar year, the 2023 Corvette Z06 brings some serious heat to the C8 Corvette lineup, cradling the high-revving, naturally aspirated 5.5L V8 LT6 gasoline engine just behind the cabin. Complementing the LT6 is a number of design upgrades over the C8 Stingray that add even more visual aggression to the mix. Now, we’re checking out the following short video featuring the C8 Corvette Z06 on a set of aftermarket wheels as it tears across the countryside.
Coming to us from the Ferrada Wheels YouTube channel, the video is about a minute and a half long, and includes footage of the 2023 Corvette Z06 parked, as well as rolling shots of the mid-engine sports car exploring rural two-lane backroads.
In the corners, this 2023 Corvette Z06 is equipped with Ferrada’s F8 Series FR8 wheels, which, in this particular application, are sized at 20 inches by 9.5 inches up front, and 20 inches by 10.5 inches in the rear. The wheels present a Matte Black finish that looks great against the silver paint on the body panels, as well as the black trim and aero components. The Ferrada F8 Series FR8 wheels are available in a wealth of different sizes and colors, including Machine Silver, Matte Bronze, and Matte Graphite.
In the video, the C8 Corvette Z06 is seen parked on a gravel shoulder, giving us a look at the wheels when stationary. We also see the sports car accelerating down some choppy two-lane roads, the sounds of the exhaust zinging up to redline with an exotic tone.

As a reminder, the 2023 Corvette Z06 is equipped as standard with the naturally aspirated 5.5L V8 LT6 gasoline engine, which doles out a maximum of 670 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, spinning up to an impressive 8,600 rpm redline. Under the skin, all C8 Corvette variants ride on the GM Y2 platform, while production takes place at the GM Bowling Green plant in Kentucky.

No thanks, shiny chrome please.
I like the design, but black wheels just look black. Could be any design or manufacturers wheels at a moderate viewing distance. Would like to see some colors again on wheels, or at least a brighter finish than just black. The trend is to go with black these days, I just don’t think there’s any visual appeal, spinning or stationary.
