2023 Chevy Colorado Bandit Edition Up For Sale: Video

Boasting an “awesome dark sleekness that gives it an outlaw sense of style” according to the listing description, a 2023 Chevy Colorado Bandit Edition truck is now up for sale for Smokey and the Bandit enthusiasts who want the hauling and off-road capabilities of a modern pickup.

With the golden “hood bird” decal splashed across its hood like that on the 1977 Pontiac Firebird in the Burt Reynolds film, this Chevy Colorado Bandit Edition is up for sale at Streetside Classics in Phoenix, Arizona.

For readers who aren’t familiar, Smokey and the Bandit is a movie released in the late Seventies that swiftly became a cultural phenomenon. Bo “The Bandit” Darville, played by Reynolds, drives the Firebird Trans Am as the “blocker” distracting the police from a truck hauling illegal interstate beer cargo.

This 2023 Chevy Colorado Bandit Edition has only 564 miles on its odometer and is priced at $69,995. Financing is available and the sellers offer worldwide shipping to the buyer.

Equipped with a 2-inch lift kit and rolling on 35-inch tires, the truck features a power bump on the hood, Black (color code GBA) exterior paint with gold pinstripes, “Bandit” logos on the front fenders and elsewhere, rear fender decals, and custom 20-inch black alloy wheels with gold pinstripes.

This 2023 Chevy Colorado Bandit Edition seems to be an LT trim truck with a four-wheel drivetrain. Its feature list suggests it’s equipped with at least three optional packages, including the Convenience Package (RPO code PCZ), the Convenience II Package (RPO code PCV) and the Convenience III Package (RPO code PDB). The last mentioned package adds synthetic leather Evotex seat upholstery. This truck rolled off the line with an MSRP of at least $43,190.

The truck’s Bandit motif extends all the way to the seat headrests, which have a round badge sewn on showing a stylized old west outlaw with a cowboy hat and a bandana over his face on a gold background.

This customized 2023 Chevy Colorado is the latest in a small series of Chevy vehicles someone has recently been banditizing recently and selling with a considerable markup over MSRP. GM Authority recently covered a 2023 Chevy Silverado Bandit Edition that auctioned for $77,000.

Additionally, a 2024 Chevy Trax in similar “bandit” regalia will be auctioned off on Thursday, November 9th at the Las Vegas Convention Center. It will be offered as a no-reserve auction and has only 146 miles on its odometer.

  1. Seriously. What is wrong with these people? First a Trax Bandit and now this?

Not sure if there’s anything worse than someone trying to take an SUV or truck and make it into a cool 70’s car. What’s next? A 2023 Camaro with the C10 two-tone custom paint and white roof?

    1. Problem is, some fool bought the similar themed Trax for the ridiculous markup and so this time around the builder is trying it with a truck. If there weren’t stupid people, the builder would have lost his rear-end on the previous build and this atrocity wouldn’t exist.

  9. Why, God, why?!? There’s only one car that can pull that livery off and it’s been out of production for decades.

You don’t see Ford dealers putting out King Cobra-edition Escapes or Rangers, do you? (I hope nobody runs with that idea…lol)
