SVE Launches 800-HP 2024 Sport Edition GMC Sierra Lowered

As GM Authority previously reported, Specialty Vehicles Engineering (SVE) launched the supercharged 2024 Sport Edition GMC Sierra Off Road pickup truck for owners looking for the ultimate all-terrain experience. Now, for those who may want a powerful street truck instead, SVE has debuted the 2024 Sport Edition GMC Sierra Lowered.

Available in Crew Cab or Double Cab configurations with either the short bed or standard bed, the supercharged 2024 Sport Edition GMC Sierra Lowered is only available to be purchased through local GM dealerships, and can be had in either 2WD or 4WD.

There are four power levels on offer, including an 800-horsepower unit equipped with the 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine, and a 700-horsepower variant equipped with the 5.3L V8 L84 gasoline engine. Both powerplants feature a blueprinted aluminum block, race-quality computer-balanced rotating assembly, forged twisted steel crankshaft, forged aluminum pistons, upgraded cylinder heads, and an SVE supercharger system. A custom stainless steel exhaust system is also included.

There’s also a 650-horsepower configuration available with the 6.2L V8 and a 550-horsepower variant with the 5.3L V8. These two upgrades include a supercharger, a high-flow cooling system and a cat-back dual exhaust system.

Notably, the supercharger assembly is one of the biggest features of the SVE pickup. In fact, the aftermarket tuning company has added a new boost-by-wire system that allows the user to have full variable boost control.

In terms of exterior styling, every pickup features an aggressive quarter-panel graphics package, unique wheels, and custom engine output badges to help make a dramatic statement, while a sport suspension setup enables the pickup to take corners in a very non-truck manner.

Notably, SVE will only produce 50 units in each of the four configurations, or 200 units in total of the 2024 Sport Edition GMC Sierra Lowered.

  2. SVE has been doing cool rides for years. Love the stance on this. Yes, I think a rear flip was done. When I bought my new 1995 Chevy ex-cab, I did bell tech spindle/coils with a rear flip. Worked great.

  3. Why won’t they do a sport model of the Canyon. There isn’t even a good lowering kit out there.

  4. This is what I prefer! Love the look and stance of this truck!! GM needs to offer a sport truck from factory. One naturally aspirated and one supercharged!

Not everyone has an EGO problem, and needs their trucks lifted!!

  5. Why don’t they make the front and rear brake calipers match.
