General Motors is cooking up an all-new third generation for the Buick Enclave crossover, with the big sheet pull expected for the 2025 model year. GM Authority has been busy uncovering all the details we can about the next-gen 2025 Buick Enclave, and now, we’re here to highlight the crossover’s upcoming tech features. Specifically, GM Authority has learned that the the 2025 Buick Enclave will offer the GM Super Cruise system.
Critically, the 2025 Buick Enclave will mark the first time in which the Enclave has offered GM’s Super Cruise system. For those readers who may be unaware, Super Cruise is The General’s semi-autonomous driver assistance technology, which allows drivers to remove their hands from the steering wheel during extended periods of highway driving. The system is considered a Level 2 autonomous technology, which means it is not a fully autonomous system, and as such, drivers must remain ready to reassume control of the vehicle while the system is activated.
Super Cruise was first offered on the 2018 Cadillac CT6, but has since expanded in availability to include a wide range of vehicles across GM’s North American brands. The system has also been enhanced with new features, including hands-free lane changing and autonomous towing.
As GM Authority exclusively reported earlier in the week, the 2025 Buick Enclave will feature an overhauled interior and other new tech items in the cabin. Among these will be a new curved display that will span the instrument panel and center stack, as well as a digital stalk-like shifter mounted on the steering column, and new piano-style up-down controls for the HVAC system. The steering wheel will be new as well, and will incorporate a green top strip as part of the Super Cruise system.
As for the greasy bits, the 2025 Buick Enclave draw motivation from the turbocharged 2.5L I4 LK0 gasoline engine, with front-wheel drive included as standard, and all-wheel drive offered as optional. Look for the next-gen 2025 Buick Enclave to debut next year.

We’ve been waiting a while. So happy to see a much more advanced engine, even if it’s just holding a place for the upcoming Ultium. If it’s anything like the 2.0 4 in my Envision, it should also be amazing, and very satisfying from the driver’s seat. Yay for efficiency and technology!
Jeff could you please comment more about the engine in your Envision? It’s a turbo, right? Any problems? Any regrets? The engine in the ‘25 Enclave may be a 4 instead of a 6 but it’s turbocharged abd outs out mire horsepower and torque than the 6-cylinder. Thank you.
The 3.6 is 310HP and roughly does 0-60 in around 5.5-6s in the enclave. I’ve had several of them. I also have an e85/flex fuel 3.6 LaCrosse (shame no stock supercharger). The four cylinder is not equal to the 3.6 even though it’s a high displacement four cylinder. It requires turbos. Newer isn’t always better. My inherited buick lesabre witht he series 2/3? 2004 got better mileage on highway than my 3.6 lacrosse which I think is slightly smaller. Anyways I expect to see a large price drop in Enclaves as I don’t think I would spend upwards of 60k on it even if it’s pretty much the best third row SUV besides the traverse.
I feel as if this refresh will look similar to the refreshed Lexus tx. Proportion’s are nearly identical
Any changes planned for the 2025 Buick Envision.
Yes Mark, the Envision is also getting a redesign based off the Wildcat. The Encore GX doesn’t wear it well in my opinion, but the redesigned Envision is beautiful. Can’t wait to see how the Enclave looks
